Excellent atmosphere, great facilities, spotless cleaning, great value for money. Bravo!
It was in the middle of town.
Location, style of the property and attached bistro
Room advertised as a “suite” accessing a “private” garden. However it was only a room with bathroom (not a suite) and the garden was only the general garden of the hotel - there was no private space associated with the room. The WiFi was very poor and the TV didn’t load properly. We mentioned a number of issues to various staff members but while each was sympathetic they offered no compensation against the costs of this expensive room.
They provide earplugs to help cover up the noise from the bars on the street below.
Not very comfortable sleeping with earplugs in...
Great location on the square but not noisy. Very comfortable and attractive room and ample off street parking. Close to some excellent restaurants.
Lovely heritage building beautiful high ceilings and furnishings. Central to town square and vineyards. All walkable
Would have been useful to have a safe in room
Lovely setting on the town square. Beautiful old style property with fixtures and fittings to match. Great restaurant and bar serving tasty local food. If visiting on a Sunday, I recommend the Sunday roast.
Nothing
Lovely old hotel with nice restaurant below
a bit noisy above the restaurant until at least 11 pm or so
The atmosphere was very nice and the staff very accommodating
Location very good , restaurant food excellent & staff very efficient.
We sat in the bar area & had a coffee , the music was quite loud.!!
Very friendly and also assisted getting my things I left at the hotel to me in Wellington.
Awesome location and the feel of being in an old style hotel
Room was great. Ours was upstairs which was fine.
