Charming
Noise from people on the street outside the hotel. Live band for hours really loud outside Didsbury.
Wow! Thanks. Excellent night's accommodation. Recommend this hotel. Sitting outside on the balcony, dinner downstairs, all so good. Cheers. Would love to go back one day
The styling of the room was spacious and uncluttered with the perfect touch of heritage furnishing and decor. Location was central and suited my stay. Breakfast was a must have option and enjoyed a meal with friends one night and loved the wine list and food options offered.
a small in room dining table would be been a good addition for working on and enjoying a meal in the room.
Lovely comfortable room with sunny balcony. Great staff
Nothing
Location
Friendly staff
Size of the room too small and the ensuite was only separated from the main suite by a louvred door. Lack of privacy
Hi when I booked my understanding was we stayed in the actual hotel but we were taken to the petite rooms it was very disappointing 😞 it was a special time my son came from the states I thought it would be a lovely place to experience so not impressed
We loved this stay. Everything from the room size in the Garden Suite, the natural lighting, the gorgeous bathroom and decor, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and approachable. We ate in the bistro downstairs on several occasions and found the hotel to be in the most central location. Would absolutely stay again and refer to others. The roses blooming in the courtyard were just stunning!
The only feedback I shared with reception on exit was how small the bin was in the room. Not a big deal but does make it annoying when you have an empty wine bottle/food packaging and can't get rid of the rubbish easily.
Location and the heritage decor
Concerned that the height of the bath to get into the shower was not mentioned not that it impeded us. Could have another shelf unit in bathroom to put toiletry bag on
A beautiful hotel. A lovely welcome from Amy. We loved our room and dinner was superb.
A bit of extra comfort here was a reward after walking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing the previous day…and an excellent base for visiting a few of the Martinborough wineries - Ata Rangi was our favourite.
Worth reserving table for dinner in the busy restaurant ahead of time, but they managed to squeeze us in to the bar area & food was good.
Lovely quiet room with a super comfortable bed and an AMAZING bathroom!! Beautiful old building oozing with history
The authentic feel and cleanliness
Location good, bed comfortable, quiet
Room maintenance poor, ripped curtains, loose floorboards & fittings, massive slope in the floor? Poor shower
The hotel was lovely with very tasteful choice of furniture and decoration. The room was very comfortable and clean. As it was situated in the centre of Martinborough, it was ideal for exploring the surrounding vineyards. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A very pleasurable stay. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the verandah watching the sun go down.
Can’t think of anything
Great hotel , wonderful staff in a perfect location
Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the car parking was convenient and secure. Friendly staff greeted us and were welcoming and informative.
Our room was near the street, and there was some early-morning noise from delivery trucks. We were alerted to this by staff who showed us to our room.
