Would definitely return but perhaps ask for a room not above the bar or kitchen.
Pros:

Lovely old Hotel very well maintained. Super central and great staff.

Cons:

The noise at 7am from downstairs was disappointing as it did wake us as it was lots of banging and clanging.

Wonderful
Pros:

The location is right in the centre of union square and there is a fantastic 4square a few meters across the road.
There were some cafes surrounding and the place itself was so nice and the beds just wonderful.

Cons:

Overall not much to fault really except I could have a few noises when water was going elsewhere but nothing to really to note too much about. The cleanliness and location and everything so nice.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful character - very clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The character of the building is gorgeous and the staff very helpful.

Cons:

I would like to see a lift installed as it’s quite a trek up the stairs with luggage.

Not a complaint re the hotel but so many shops were closed Tues and wed. - also the movie theatre. Very frustrating as I could see through the windows items I likely would have purchased and I definitely would have gone to a movie.

My daughter and I loved our stay at the Martinborough hotel. We had the best time.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The location central and close to all the lovely shops and restaurants.
The staff was attentive and we enjoyed the complimentary tea & coffee facilities and snacks.
good to have a little fridge in the room.
Th elibrary room with fireplace was a lovely relaxing place to spend time too.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like. However some cutlery and some bowls would have been handy.
