Setting was lovely and close to Pohara, friendly' helpful people

Good location. Quiet. Comfortable.

We loved the location. Most disappointing part of our stay was definitely the wifi, wifi signal was not very strong at all and would quite often drop out (for us wifi is almost the most important thing) and the sign that said that if wifi isnt strong come down to the reception area isnt really practical. Toilet didnt flush very well and you had to hold the button down. Tv had limited reception or fuzzy channels. Shower was meh too. Steps up to the unit werent very easy and older people would struggle, also if they were wet would be dangerpus.

Clean and bright rooms, friendly helpful staff. However in a ground floor room and the noise from room above awful. The evening really noisy with people “stomping” around above us and woke us again at 6am till 8am like herd of elephants in ceiling. Would put me off staying again unless had top floor room.

Access to beach, good facilities and friendly owner

This is a wonderful motel for a trip to Abel Tasman. It's right next to the beach and more beautiful places than anyone could possibly visit. The room was clean and had a full kitchen and separate bedroom and bathroom. Michelle at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with ideas for what to do while there.

Owner/manager is welcoming and helpful. A small and personal establishment. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful owners. The motel has a lovely garden, which the downstairs studios open onto. Facilities eg laundry, cooking were good. Very comfortable bed with fresh, crisp bedding. The only downsides were traffic noise, as we were close to road, and apartment was dated and needed some modernisation.

We stayed here for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. From the moment we checked in (friendly, helpful and informative) we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and looked out onto their garden which was gorgeous. We had patio doors and chairs outside to enjoy it. We were invited to pick any lettuce, rosemary and lemons we wanted which we did and enjoyed these. The milk in the fridge awaiting our arrival was also welcome. These touches added to a great stay. The room felt homely and the kitchen area had everything we needed to cook. The location is a 5 minute drive to the beach and other walks. One of our best rooms of this nz trip.

Nice place. Helpful host. Gave us information on 5 nice walks in the area. Well situated to northern walks og Abel Tasman coastal track.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Ausstattung ließkeine Wünsche offen und man kann sich auch in der Küche eigene Mazlzeiten zubereiten. Essen dann im Appartement auf dem Balkon davor oder im garten. Allein die direkte Lage an der Straße, die an dieser Stelle noch außerorts ist und schnell befahren wird trübte den Gesamtkomfort. Wer also einen leichten Schlaf hat unbedingt Ohrenst psel mitnehmen. Sonst ein optimaler Platz um zu den vielen Highligts der Umgebung zu starten.
