Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

A security deposit/refundable bond of NZD 250 is required upon arrival. This will be collected by credit card/debit card. It can also be paid in cash only if you intend to arrive and depart within the reception opening hours. You should be reimbursed in full within 7 days of check out subject to return of the key and inspection of the room.

The property's reception opening hours are:
- 8:30 to 10:00
- 14:00 to 18::00
On public holidays:
- 9:00 to 10:00
- 14:00 to 17:00

If you are arriving after 6:00 you will need to complete the pre-check-in process which will be emailed to you approximately 48 hours prior to your arrival. Once this has been received; we will either email or text you our late arrival details before we close the reception.

Children aged 17 years and below must be accompanied by a parent or official guardian to check-in.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Wouldn't stay there again
Pros:

Good sized room, comfy bed, excellent location

Cons:

No sharp knife in the kitchen. No toiletries in bathroom as advertised. Had to ask for more toilet paper, soap dispenser in bathroom was broken, light bulb was faulty in kitchen. Soap dispenser and light bulb were remedied at our request, never saw the toilet paper. Bathroom well overdue for refurbishment.

Manager was rude when this was pointed out to him.
No duvet cover on the bed & the duvet inner was dirty.
Someone's dirty laundry was on the ground outside in the patio area.
A $250.00 bond was demanded on check in (online) & took 4 days to get back.
This place was awesome when it was new but now it's an ageing dive.

Cons:

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room during our stay.

When we arrived, there were beer bottles left under the bed, which my daughter picked up while playing. This was very concerning and should have been checked before the room was given to another guest.

Additionally, the hand wash in the bathroom was empty. To make matters worse, the toilet had clearly not been cleaned properly, as there was still human waste left in it.

While the staff were nice and the location of the hotel was good, the condition of the room was extremely poor. Because of these issues, we were very unhappy with our stay.

We hope the management improves their cleaning standards so future guests do not experience the same problem.

Dissapointing, won't be returning here.
Pros:

Location - close to beach and easy falt walk into shops and restaurants. Car parking was easy to get in and out of.

Cons:

A funny smell in the hotel and room - an unpleasant odour. Dark lighting in the large room. Very old and tired decor. No tissues or shampoo/conditioner provided. Dispenser on shower wall said it was soap and shampoo - not helpful. Carpet very old and not sure how clean it was. Vent in bathroom ceiling was incredibly thick with dust so would have been unable to do its job.

Pros:

Love it apart from not been able to use pool wich was a down side due to I had kids with me

Cons:

No access to pool as was getting maintenance, maybe u guys should state that on this app as I seen. Nothing about that untill got room key with letter of things to remind ect
