Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

A security deposit/refundable bond of NZD 250 is required upon arrival. This will be collected by credit card/debit card. It can also be paid in cash only if you intend to arrive and depart within the reception opening hours. You should be reimbursed in full within 7 days of check out subject to return of the key and inspection of the room.

The property's reception opening hours are:
- 8:30 to 10:00
- 14:00 to 18::00
On public holidays:
- 9:00 to 10:00
- 14:00 to 17:00

If you are arriving after 6:00 you will need to complete the pre-check-in process which will be emailed to you approximately 48 hours prior to your arrival. Once this has been received; we will either email or text you our late arrival details before we close the reception.

Dated and not great value for money
Pros:

The proximity to town and the beach

Cons:

It felt really dated. I think the location is really all that is good about the place. The walls were dirty and had markings on them. The balcony was sandy and felt like it wasn’t clean. The clothes aired was rusty. The mattress of the portacot wasn’t clean. The bedroom was really hot and uncomfortable. The signed was also really uncomfortable. I think that the price of the room is too high for what you’re getting.

Pros:

It was a nice location and close to everything. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The owner and staff are very friendly. Throughly enjoyed the pool area.

Pros:

Amazing location, nice pool and spa to enjoy,

Cons:

The toilet smell so bad , at night some weird smell come out of the toilet not sure what it was so fishy. Also kid bed had ants on them.

Could be better.
Pros:

Jessie and her husband were brilliant and very attentive to my getting sick whilst we were there. The Bed in room 344 was so comfortable.

Cons:

The rooms were dated and hadn't been dusted in a while. Me and My sister cleaned down the cupboards on top of the headboard and on top of the single wardrobe in the first room. I imagine the heat pump needed cleaning, too.The bed in room 118 was so old and very very uncomfortable, the bed settee was uncomfortable to sit on and my back is still recovering from them.

Great location for beach lovers, but the outdated and musty rooms make it hard to recommend.
Pros:

The location is certainly the highlight of this property, as it is within easy walking distance to the beach. However, while the convenience is great, the room itself left much to be desired...

Cons:

We were assigned a room on the ground floor, which unfortunately highlighted the building's age. The carpet had a heavy, musty odor, and the room felt dark with a very poor view. Both the bathroom and the TV were outdated and in need of an upgrade. Combined with an uncomfortable bed, it was difficult to get a good night's rest.

Not happy
Cons:

There was a horrible event that happened which was out of the people's hands. It put such a damper on our holiday. We requested 3 times if it's not possible to check out earlier due to circumstances or move our other dates to another. They were not accomodating. With a husband that is wheelchair bound We could not get to the swimming pool because there is no ramps to the back only steps. We decided to check out a day earlier due to the fact that everything around the resort was closed due to the horrible event and we were without electricity for more than 8 hours. Won't be staying there again

Pros:

The hotel was situated perfectly in the heart of the mount

Cons:

The room was totally dated, one of our beds wasn’t even made up and there were no toiletries
It could be a fantastic penthouse suite if they modernised it
Disappointed with the owner when my husband asked for some milk he told him the shop was round the corner then realised with the disaster we could not go to the shop so he gave us some but he really didn’t want too
