The property is located right in the centre of surfers paradise. The view was very good from the ninth floor. The apartment was spacious.

Cons:

Apartment number 39 is a very old and badly maintained apartment. Everything is ugly and in bad repair.

Flickering light in the bedroom
Damaged blinds
Damaged bath.
Damaged and ugly front door
The fridge door is completely worn out, all the paint scratched off.
Random plastic hooks are glued in places, some broken.
The sliding door to the balcony barely moves

Cannot beat the location
Pros:

I loved the location, its a very short walk to surfers paradise mall (Cavill Avenue) and the night markets are literally acrsoss the road.
The living room, master bedroom and bedroom all faced the beach and it was great to wake up to golden sunrises every day when I know that at the same time in Melbourne they were experiencing -1 degrees celcius. I also loved looking from the balcony and seeing the relaxed lifestyle of people (and pets) enjoying the esplanade at all times of the day.

The staff were amazingf and accomodating to the point of finding me in the basement car park to personally hand me the room keys once tghe cleaners had finished cleaning the room.

Cons:

Unfortunatelly there were some serious drawbacks to the property, namely the state of disrepair. The carpets had stains on them and even if you cleaned them the stains woud still show, giving the impression that the place was dirty.
The tiles in the shower that shares the same room as the laundry, had gaps in the grout and it was evident that water has been ingressing behind the tiles, swelling the studs and noggins. This has caused the remaining tiles to be pushed forwads (giving the appearance of a bump). Merely caulking or regrouting is not going to fix the underlying issue. The laundry sink had a chipped corner, these are only two examples, but there were numorous issues all through the apartment (number 52).
At this stage the disrepair is so extensive that the only way to go forward would be to renovate the apartment. This would turn the negative or neutral reviews to positive reviews and people would keep coming back.

The location made this accommodation perfect, the staff both on & off site great to deal with. Two bedroom two bathroom was ideal for us as a family

Perfect location! Beautiful views and everything you need for a nice holiday

Not happy with no light of fan in master bedroom working
Pros:

The size of the apartment was great.
The location was very useful.
The view was great.

Cons:

The light and the fan in the master bedroom didn't work. I informed the staff and they then got their electrician to look at it. I was then told it was a major job to repair, so I had to endure a room with poor lighting and no airflow unless I opened the door. Also when I closed the curtain, I was left with little light with the bedside lamps. This made things hard to see that weren't near the light and or down low.
When I was told that this would not be fixed before I leave, I was also informed that there was not other room i could be moved into.
I wasnt impressed having to endure my stay without basics such as light.


The noise from the traffic below was quite loud and disrupting at times. Even with all windows and doors shut, it was still easy to hear what was going on outside.

Perfect family friendly apartment close to beach and Cavill Ave. Highly recommended
Pros:

Amazing location right on the beach and right near Cavill Ave. Family friendly, safe and quiet. Underground free parking. Secure building. Spacious apartment with great balcony and views. Full kitchen and laundry. 2 bathrooms in the 2 bedroom apartment. Friendly reception staff. We will stay here again definitely.

Cons:

Older style building but renovated nicely. We have no complaints.
