It was a lovely experience to stay in a grand old home.
Wonderful location, peaceful and very relaxing. The accommodation was nice, we had a beautiful large room.
The breakfast was delicious and service was wonderful,

Cons:

The bed was soft but too saggy. It was difficult to turn because we were sinking in.
The robe was full of wholes, it needs to be binned.

Cons:

Tired looking. Poor road surface to car park. Toilet had not been cleaned - splatters around bowl. Staff seemed downbeat. A bit of a depressing stay. Expensive for what you got. Two coffees rip off. Bottle of water in room $12.00! It was my wife’s birthday so lucky it was only one night.

Beautiful unique hotel with comfortable rooms.
Pros:

Such a beautiful building, it really felt magical pulling up to it and furnishings inside were cozy and full of personality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Room had blackout curtains which helped get a good night's sleep.

Cons:

Room & bed were slightly smaller and not as luxurious as I thought it would be from photos and price (but still comfortable!). A few mosquitos flying around that bit us during the night.

Good stay, we'd come back.
Pros:

Great staff. The hotel is old and timber and in some ways felt a little tired. However, it was very comfortable. Loved the pool and tennis court. Interesting place with its history.

Cons:

Minor niggle: the shower in the bathroom of room #3 is hard to temperature-control and keep the shower head in place when on full-power.
