Lake House Daylesford

One of the most enjoyable properties we have stayed at in recent years

Lovely location on Lake Daylesford. Highly recommend booking a room with a view of the lake. The rooms are very comfortable. A highlight is definitely the food at the restaurant.

Food, service and the lovely setting were excellent. The only issue we had was a strange smell in the room when we got there but we were moved to another room. Can’t fault the gorgeous food and service in the restaurant and the property has a great feel throughout. We really enjoyed our stay

Lovely room, great food and well trained team. Only negative is that our room did not have a very good extrrnal seating area.

We were greeted when we arrived by a lovely staff member who's attention to detail was on point, welcome drink while we checked in and escorted to you rooms and given a run down on the room. The staff are amazing from the front desk to the restaurant we were very happy with our stay

Excellent service, Steve in the dining room was welcoming and friendly along with all the staff in the dining room. Food was terrific. Recommend highly. Lovely outlook onto the lake.

A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX AND UNWIND

After booking for a room last April for 2 nights in November, I realised I needed a room with a walk in shower ( owing to a disability) I phoned and spoke to the reception - on arrival we were helped to our room over looking the lake, (we were upgraded) such a surprise.
The food was "to die for" and the room very comfortable, staff all very friendly and helpful especially Wendi our waitress. Wonderful place.

We have stayed at The Lakehouse at least five times and our most recent stay was fantastic. The rooms overlook the lake in Daylesford, providing the most idyllic, quiet and restful setting. The staff are welcoming and friendly and ready to assist with any requests. Finally, the restaurant well and truly deserves its reputation as one of Victoria’s best. Whether enjoying a relaxing breakfast, an extra long lunch or memorable dinner, the setting is great, the staff warm and friendly and food remains sensational.

It was our 34th Wedding Anniversary so we decided to stay there one night along with having dinner. It was SUPER. We have a 8 course tasting dinner from the Chief and the Breakfast was included along with a few items on the menu

Impeccable food, service and surrounds. Cosy ambiance. Super comfortable bed. 2 nights were perfect for relaxation and to enjoy the Lake House. Highly recommended.

Luxury hotel which lives up to its reputation. The room was immaculate, spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff were unfailingly courteous, welcoming and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and both experiences were excellent. The degustation menu was among the best we have had. We will definitely return in the future.

This hotel is very quiet and calming. Facilities are very good and nothing seems too much trouble. Staff are helpful and discrete. The restaurant is excellent.

Beautiful accommodation on on beautiful lake. Great restaurant and good facilities.

Great food but wine was expensive with nothing under $85. Bathroom lacked bench space to put one's toiletries but heated floor was lovely.

This is definitely the best hotel experience my husband and I have ever had. Starting from the most relaxed, friendly and professional welcome through to the excellent service, beautiful room and exquisite food The Lakehouse is a testament to years of hard work and dedication. Stunning!
