Excellent choice and best location
Pros:

Absolutely lovely balcony room with views of the Strand beach and Magnet Island.
Close to excellent coffee and cafes.
Great secure off street under building parking.
Super clean large room.
Highly recommend and will stay again when next in Townsville.

Location, view, parking all very good.

Cons:

Very old and extremely noisy Air-conditioner. Because of that we had to turn it off and keep the balcony door open which in turn meant we were awaken by passersby talking frequently. Couldn't win either way.

Safe parking and easy to get to. When we had an issue with the shower they changed our room with no question

Slow lift. Uncomfortable pillow. Dodgy repair work on vanity sink. Had not realised the rooms were not serviced on weekends. Arrived home after midnight on Saturday - wet towels on floor of shower.
