Noisy, dated motel
Cons:

Booked a 1 bedroom and we were upgraded (not at our request) to a 3 bedroom and promptly advised not to use the other bedrooms and bathrooms. Our bedroom faced High St and traffic noise all night was not conducive to sleep. Rooms had all necessities but look tired and in need of refurb.

Our 2 nights in Bendigo
Pros:

The 2 bedroom apartment was very private and quiet. It was worth the struggle with luggage up the stairs. It had all the facilities we needed for our 2 night stay. Parking outside the door was appreciated

Cons:

My husband 's bed base was unstable. Maintenance man fixed the lack of casters (mystery! how this had not been picked up by the cleaners). My husband propped bed up with beer stubbles to get through the first night.
Manager was apologetic and helpful.

Spacious, Clean and Comfortable
Pros:

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed overnight and would feel very comfortable staying for longer if time permitted.
