Comfort Inn Bishops Lodge

The dining facility was closed for a staff farewell. I don’t begrudge the staff their gathering BUT there should have been disclosure when we booked earlier that afternoon. We would have sought accommodation elsewhere where the facilities we were looking for were actually available.

I couldn't fault the proerty,It was nice and clean ,good Amienties and the staff .were nice and friendly .I be back agian.

Clean and fresh smelling rooms/ bedding and bathroom. Kitchen had all needed cutlery and a microwave. Overall excellent 😊😊

Amazing stay at bishops lodge, amazing room with adjoining room for the kids, very clean and well presented - only issue was hotels.com not passing on our contact information, comfort inn did their best to contact hotels.com to get my details but were unfortunately directed to an American email address. Luckily we showed up before they closed reception and the lady was incredibly welcoming and explained that she was just trying to let us know what to do if we showed up late. I would highly recommend comfort inn bishops lodge to any travellers passing through hay.

Convenient location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff

Booked and paid for a King Suite $205.00. Arrived was given a Standard Room. No explanation. Tried to contact Reception at 6:35PM shortly after I arrived. Reception closed and locked up. Intercom no answer. Tried the Phone Number on the door. Rang out. No answer. Could not leave a message. Manager no where to be found. Room I was given was a small corner room. Dirty carpet and floor. Because of the corner location came with parking issues. Even though the Hotel was half empty, the Manager decided to cram everyone together in the back corner. Noisy neighbours. Noisy Highway right outside. Restaurant not open Friday/Saturday or Sunday. Breakfast $12.00 for something that came in a plastic box. Multigrain or Weetbix and some milk. I guess if you can't get basic things right like assigning the room that was paid for, you probably don't care about your customer. I will be passing through Hay quite often. Definitely won't be staying at the Bishops Lodge ever again.

The room was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. I had the spa sweet . And it was very roomy and well laid out with a full kitchen and large bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable . I would definitely stay again.

The accomadatiom was clean, spacious, neat & tidy with a great room layout catering also for our 4month old son.

This is a clean and functional place to stay, making it easy to self cater, and get on the road at a time that suits you. It is not in the centre of town, however. But with your own transport that is not a problem.

This is a great little motel - we always stay here when we’re in Hay. And it’s just a short walk to a great little pub for dinner as well.

Large room. Kitchen light wasn’t work though.
Other than that it was a good stay.

The motel was excellent in every way. Easy checkin, spotless bathroom and comfortable bed. Highly recommend to anyone overnighting in Hay.
