It’s a comfortable bed for the night in great location

Pros:

I had a great stay at Sydney Boutique hotel, great location and environment for the affordable price. Rooms were all very clean and also got upgraded to a bigger room for free. The receptionist was great and communicated everything efficiently.
I recommend everyone who is on a budget and still wants a great hotel experience to book here.

Pros:

The positive side of this hotel is the customer service. The staff were polite, responsive, and handled issues relatively quickly. The location is also quite convenient.

Cons:

Firstly, the room was completely different from the photos shown at the time of booking. It was much smaller than expected. There was only one power outlet near the bed, which made it very inconvenient to charge phones, especially for multiple guests.

Secondly, housekeeping was not provided daily.

More importantly, cleanliness was a serious issue. When we first checked in, there were visible stains, including what appeared to be blood stains, on the bed sheets in both my room and my parents’ room. On several occasions, we also found small insects on the bed, which was quite alarming.

Although the staff responded politely and changed the bedding on the third day after we reported the issue, the problem was not fully resolved. I still found an insect on the pillow afterward, and even the newly changed sheets had stains. This made the stay very uncomfortable and concerning.

Overall, while the service attitude was good, the hygiene standards and room conditions did not meet expectations.

Excellent location
The room was small but there was plenty of space for our bags so it worked well for us
Communication with staff was very good - they upgraded us without us asking which we really appreciated
