Location was good and bed was very comfortable. On a busy street, so pack earplugs for your stay
The shower in the bathroom was leaking into the bathroom making the whole room wet. The shower curtain does not actually contain the water and results in water spreading everywhere. The walls are also very thin, so we could hear our neighbour's conversations all night

The location is perfect for us close to SVPH where my husband has day surgery every year.
The bed and pillows are a bit uncomfortable but we are only there for one night so it’s ok
Overall, this hotel was a reasonable choice mainly because of its excellent location. It is situated on a great street with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to many of Sydney’s attractions.
there were several disappointing aspects of the stay. The room was much smaller than expected, with a very small balcony, limited storage space, no wardrobe, and a compact bathroom. While the bathroom was clean, the floor throughout the room felt greasy and sticky, which affected the overall impression of cleanliness.
The bed was large and clean
Another significant downside was the lack of a lift. The stairway was narrow, steep, and involved several flights of stairs, making it difficult to carry luggage. I would recommend travelling with only a backpack rather than large suitcases if staying here.
Parking was also an issue. The hotel listing suggested parking was available, but there was no on-site parking. We had to park about four minutes away and pay approximately $50 per night, which was both inconvenient and expensive.
Staff was friendly and welcoming, gave us free upgrade of the room. World cup game available on TV. Shower is hot and nice, also has hair dryer in the room. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable too. Location was very convenient, close to many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, about 35mins walk to Opera House.
Space was a little bit tight for 2ppl, but it's enough. Balcony gate was difficult to close. Street noise, but bearable.

I enjoyed my stay at Sydney Boutique Hotel. The staff proactively communicated with me, which I highly appreciate and set great first impressions. The location is walkable to active nightlife (about 2-3 blocks away and still away from noisy streets), so that's good if that's for you.
