This was a proper apartment with separate bedroom, cooking facilities and full laundry, located next to the beach and behind a very nice hotel. Rooms were great size and to be able to bring our dog was fantastic. The staff are amazing assets, especially the reservations manageress A. Just an amazing stay out of mackay to enjoy the literal sea breeze.
The hotel is upgrading its wifi so service was a bit patchy but the staff worked very hard to assist and mobile hot spot solves all.
The unit was roomy and had all appliances, including hotplates and washer/dryer. Very little noise heard from other units or the adjoining hotel.
The room felt in need of upgrade, which they appear to be doing with other units. The crockery was a bit haphazard...only one mug (plenty of cups), and one teaspoon.

Travelling with my pooch it was great to have a ground floor apartment with patio and some garden at the back
Situated behind Seabreeze Hotel and you can purchase takeaway lunch or dinner which was fantastic and just across the road from the bay

Pool area especially pool needing cleaning and BBQ area needed updating and replacement.
Room had small cosmetic damages that could easily be mended. Wall beside toilet had not been cleaned.

Pet friendly property. Ease of parking. The restaurant and bar is close enough to be convenient but not noisy
We were moved after the first night due to maintenance issues – the toilet required manual cistern access to flush, and the shower head fell apart. The under-bed cleanliness in that room was genuinely alarming. The second room had working facilities, but the fans were too loud to use and the floor cleanliness was again poor. The outdoor areas around the accommodation were littered with cigarette butts, broken glass, and general rubbish – we had to actively keep our dog away. The restaurant and bar grounds were noticeably better kept by comparison.

No hot chocolate sachet! Always feels discriminatory for the grown up non coffee and tea drinkers!!!
