Bathroom renovations look required in the near future

Breakfast is bad. Fungus on the bread and we could not get a decent breakfast. Condiments were not sufficient and when we asked for some more we could not get it. We were told that the breakfast was complimentary and that if we wanted a decent breakfatst we should go to the cafe across the street.

Sheets had a slight stain, looked older and like they were washed but still not ideal

Noisy. Very no frills and outdated decor. Cheaper motels offer more.

Cleanliness, the floors need to be ripped up and thrown away, the sink in the kitchenette appeared to have been used to empty a mop bucket, there was gunk and grey fibres all over it, the drain plug was so blocked I needed to clean it before I then had to wash the glasses, it looked as though they had been used (covered in smudges and finger prints ) and just put back. The shower was crap, most of the water leaked and just ran down the wall, and I have no idea what's going on with the pipes, it didn't matter which tap you turned the water would stay hot or cold for quite a while. The entire room just had a weird smell, and the bed was uncomfortable, I had very little sleep. The lift is slow and jerky, and stops below floor level, it would be very easy for anybody to trip. The of street carpark is used by everyone as a short cut, and that had me worried.

Could use some maintenance:
Toilet roll holder was hanging from the wall
Shower shelf was loose and wash bottles fell off
Included breakfast was not flash and not as described.
The hotel felt tired

I booked/paid the room 16hr prior to arrival, advised arrival was going to be between 9-10am.
Received text advise how to enter which was good.
Entered room and found bathroom to be used, towel used and placed on bench.
Continued to walk through to main area found bed to had been used/slept in.
On the entry text message it advised if i had any difficulty please call either 02 69216411 or 0478786273 & you will be put through to our onsite manager for assistance.
Now it was only 10.10am when i arrived, i just drove 5hrs.
I rang both numbers a number of time, no answer on both - this is unacceptable.
I was left looking for another room at other places which i found,
My family, business & myself will never use this hotel again.

Worst thing was no one called me the following day, no one gave a shit about what happened, I understand things go wrong but i would at minimum call to discuss this customer, but got nothing.
I actually rang 11am the following day to advise what had happen and request fully refund.
This place id a joke, never stay here, there's better place for a small amount and the same in the area,

From a few years ago the place seems to of down graded some it facilities. Things like the barrister bar , the bar facility to unwind after arriving is closed & access to a hot breakfast has been removed. Those things were an asset & a drawcard to the motel.
