Great location, with Glebe and Newtown practically on the doorstep and Chinatown and the city a manageable walk or a short bus trip. The front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My room was basic but comfortable and had everything I needed. I appreciated the sitting areas the hotel has on the upper floors where I could curl up with a book after spending the day out and about in Sydney. I’d happily stay here again.
I wasn’t a fan of the shower, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. It was hard to keep the water from escaping from the shower cubicle to the rest of the bathroom floor.
Staff were lovely, good location with heaps of restaurants and shops nearby.
Aircon was extremely loud. The blanket was dirty and had no cover on it (they put it between two sheets to try and cover it up)
Super personnel. J’ai était accueillie par un jeune étudiant du Bangladesh qui m’a super bien accueilli et qui était très serviable. Je recommande !
Staff were relatively friendly.
I am an Accor staff member from the Sunshine Coast and was utterly disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, portrayed as a mid range family room it was no where near, floors and bathroom had clearly only had a very mild once over did not seem mopped at all. It did not smell clean at all! For a room with absolutely no fresh ventilation the windowsills and window were covered in in dust and grime build up, the room smelt stale and strong with foul odour proving air-cons had not been attended to in numerous months if not years. Furniture displaying water damage was not ideal giving trashy vibes also contributing to obvious proof of moisture build up and poor air flow. I will never be back to this accommodation! Power went out during the night for hours causing the already horrible smelling room to be extra stuffy, woke up feeling terrible as if you’d had no oxygen during your sleep. Partner was awoken to lights turned by themselves at 3:30am! Very poor safety as the direct front door could easily be left unlocked by drunks as I even had to go back and push shut after walking my kids in. The worst stay for that amount of money to date.
It’s very bad
The customer service he was so rude and harassing my girlfriend always and said when u finish party comeback to me even if i sleep wake me up
Good location
Not enough light to read in bed, and ability to stream was broken and unable to be fixed during our stay
The location of the hotel was accessible to everything around central Sydney. It was extremely close to the university of technology sydney and all the shopping malls.
The showerhead of the bathroom kept falling while I was showering. I stayed in room 211, and the shower was not attached to the base properly. It was really annoying for me. The walls were thin, and I kept hearing other people talking. When I arrived, a couple across the room from me were shouting at each other.
The breakfast was adequate..
The location was great for where we went on Saturday night.. it was easy to walk to from our accommodation.
Our room was pretty compact and probably the smallest we have ever stayed in.
Was strange not to have a window.
A bigger bathroom but was very clean and a window.
Check in, Check out, Room was clean, shower and bed good. Thanks
Staff at checkout was a little at odds.
Room was nice
Was difficult to get there from parking options, room was a fair way from evaluator and hotel entrance
Friendly and helpful staff
Need to change the room as the AC was not working. The room didn’t have any windows and the weather was hot and humid. Arrived at the hotel late evening as the flight was hugely delayed. So, we were exhausted and needed rest. It seems that the AC function was somehow overlooked during the room checks before the guests arrival. However, the staff on duty immediately arranged another room with centralised AC. That was a relief.
I have travelled to many places and stayed in many hotels but there was never a place where i was asked to buy water for my stay. Which i never expected. I have read in books and watched in movies that water will become a expensive commodity in near future. But looks like we are there already by the looks of the service by this hotel.
