Rooms on the smaller size however had everything you needed. Mattresses on bunks could do with an update and some curtains over the windows. The outside lights continue to turn on and off as people walk past throughout the night shining directly into the bedroom. The timber slats not enough to keep the light out. Ok stay but a little overpriced for what you get.
Mattresses need an update and room required curtains.
Great food. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast great value. Lovely property and perfect location for the canopy walk.
Staff were very accommodating and Friendly. Amenities are wonderful plenty of grassy areas to play with children, a lot to offer, sights, wildlife, facilities for children and fantastic food. our pick.
There was a bit of dust under the beds and in hard to reach places. it's a hard area to maintain such things as dirt and dust but it is was worth commenting if there are particularly sensitive people considering the stay.
We only had 1 meal there on the last night which was Sunday and as we were tired and had eaten and drunk FAR FAR too much we only had snacks. Pumpkin salad had a minimal amount of dressing on it and lacked flavour, not a lot of char on the pumpkin an some of the lettuce leaves should not have been used - mesculun had just reached its use by date
There was no refresh of the room in 3 nights - even if there was no daily maid service, it would have been nice for coffee pods, and fresh towels at least once during our stay. Tissues ran out day 2 of 3
Spa room - no bubbles, just a 1/2 jar of salts with no scent. Reed diffuser scent was spectacular - get some salts from those people!!!
Top of wardrobe - looked like a bit of a jumble sale - hairdryer, iron, extra blanket ....all just shoved up in there
LIGHTING OF CAR PARK - so poor, so dangerous. Black as pitch from the moment you leave the walkway from your room. Coming back at night was so scary as the only light was once you got back onto the walkway along the front of the rooms. This could not be legal.
