Amori Villas

Uns hat dieser Aufenthalt so gut gefallen, dass wir für ein bereits gebuchtes Hotel in Ubud noshow bezahlt haben, um einen weiteren Tag in Amori Villas verbringen zu können. Ein entspannterer Platz in der Hektik Ubuds wird sich kaum finden lassen. Wir empfehlen dieses kleine Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter. 5 Sterne für Freundlichkeit, Service und einen der besten Poolviews in Bali.

Wir bewerten eigentlich keine Unterkünfte, doch Amori Villas hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Die Villa bietet lediglich fünf Villen. Wir waren in Villa zwei, ein Traum! Zu der Zeit waren wir teilweise die einzigen Gäste und haben während dieser Zeit einen balinesischen Kochkurs mit Komang und Andri gemacht. Das hat grossen Spass gemacht und wir haben das Ergebnis als Abendessen genossen. Morgens startete der Kochkurs mit Einkaufen auf dem lokalen Markt mit Marsa, das war Bali ohne Filter. Klasse und sehr zu empfehlen. Die absoluten Highlights dieses Hotels sind jedoch die freundlichen und netten Menschen, die sich in Amori um das Wohl der Gäste kümmern. Und natürlich die Lage mit einem Infinitypool, der einen unglaublichen Blick bietet. Den Pool haben wir tags und nachts genutzt. Wunderbar ist auch die kühle Brise, die stets durch die Anlage geht. Das ist wie Balsam nach dem Besuch des stickigen und mit Menschen vollgepackten Ubuds. Wir empfehlen dieses Juwel mit Dschungelblick uneingeschränkt und werden es zu 100% wieder und länger besuchen, wenn wir erneut Bali bereisen. Rina&Micha

Le complexe est magnifique, récent, avec une vue exceptionnelle 😍, a 10min en grab de Ubud, au calme.

Le restaurant est très bon, la cuisine est ouverte sur la salle se restaurant.
Tout était parfait.

Absolutely beautiful location overlooking a lush jungle canyon.

Staff were amazing and made sure everything was perfect and within a day, knew us by name.

Hotel was visited by wild monkeys during our visit which was wonderful.

Restaurant food was amazing and fresh and prepared with great care.

If I am ever in Bali again, I will absolutely stay at this resort.

This place is absolutely unique, a piece of paradise so close to the heart of Ubud. Surroundings, comfort, good food (delicious breakfasts!), spa area (I recommend a fantastic massage from Putri) - perfect!
But it's the crew that makes this place truly special: friendly, open and at the same time professional, attentive and helpful. Thank you Marsa for showing me interesting places in Bali, but also sharing stories about the culture and traditions of this extraordinary island and the opportunity to experience it literally by taking part in ceremonies and family celebrations. Thank you Dayu for our interesting conversations, Thank you Mozie, Denny, Ayu, Komang, Indria and everyone else. Thanks to you, I felt at home in Amori. I will definitely come back here. I recommend it to anyone who wants comfort, relaxation, individual approach and at the same time real contact with the Balinese soul.

Beautiful quite valley location.
Villa very basic though, not 4 or 5 star. No proper bedding just a small blanket and amenities in room very old. Breakfast is very good though and food in general is good. Outdoor bathroom is also nice.
Best part is the staff who are lovely.
Note - construction right next door at present.

Special isolated location. Exclusive, great staff, beautiful pool, great spa and excellent restaurant whilst being a small exclusive villa arrangement

Amori Villas is a small, nice property. Our villa had 2 rooms and a large open bathroom, which I learned to appreciate! The balcony had a lovely view. Breakfast is decent and food for lunch/dinner is good and reasonably priced. Staff at the restaurant are friendly and helpful (such as Mosee - spelling not right). Overall nice hotel, would recommend although slightly overpriced for what it is. More suited to couples.

The free shuttle into/from town (10min drive), available at pre-defined times has to be booked an hour in advance both ways. This was a let down, on a number of points. The message from hotel staff and drivers seem to differ on the location of the pick-up points. For the return (from town) we tried calling 6 times, and could not get through, finally got a normal taxi back (which they agreed to pay for). Another day it was 20mins late (during which time you agonise over whether the car has missed seeing us or whether the hotel didn’t pass on the message). The pick up point is a busy, car fume-filled location which was very uncomfortable to wait at with 2 small kids. The driver didn’t really have an explanation. Very disappointed that for a 2-hourly on request pick up, they couldn’t be on time.

The General Manager mentioned before our arrival that age appropriate toys would be made available for my 1.5yr old but they never were during our 6-night stay, even after reminding him during the stay.

Didn’t really understand the butler service.

Beautiful location in a valley. Could hear sound of water from our balcony. This pace is small which allows them to give you personal attention. Again the view out of our room and from breakfast area is beautiful. Peaceful!

We stayed as a couple at the end of March 2018. From the moment we arrived and had our welcome drink followed by a delecious lunch the experience was wonderful. We chose to eat dinner in most of the time as the food was so good prepared in the open kitchen by the in house chefs. The staff cannot do enough for you and nothing is to much trouble. Highly recommend the bicycle tour of the local area (mainly downhill so manageable for all) and the staff will book all the excursions and just tell you where to be and when taking all the hassle away. Afternoons were spent by the pool with freshly made snacks prepared by the chefs and a few glasses of wine. I would not hesitate to go back to this peaceful rural setting.

Great setting and property in the jungle which can be a bit buggy. Food was excellent and staff provide personal experience.
