Broken bed, single sheets on a double bed, broken curtains, no hit water, coffee machine not able to use as no coffee pods, poor service in bar and restaurant. The complete package of a zero star hotel

Rodeo weekend, our room overlooked an internal carpark which became a loud music playing disco until 5am each night. Also disappointed in wotiff for not warning us. $300 a night for a room that you couldn't sleep in at night!

Location is good. They have a bar, a restaurant and a game room at the hotel. There was no plates, bowls or any cutlery in the room, no microwave either. We were happy with our stay, but it'd be better if the hotel is renovated.

Pros:

There was a long walk between the reception and the room. The room did not have a window, had a window view picture which was peeling off.
The room had a coffee pod machine but no coffee pods were supplied.
The hotel gave us one welcome drink voucher for two of us, and of course the bartender refused to give me two drinks out of one voucher.
The aircon was old and noisy.
First time staying in Mount Isa so not sure how this property compares with others, but I would rather look elsewhere next time.

Reception rang all around for us, very helpful to no avail

Pros:

I was right next to the door on the air bridge, people were coming and going until late. The noise of the bar downstairs kept me awake quite late. The bed was comfortable but the bed spread had something on it. Not sure what it was. Would I stay again? Probably not, I would choose the Red Earth instead.
