Redearth Hotel made our stay in Mount Isa very memorable.
Pros:

The rooms were clean, roomy & very well presented. Restaurants were excellent & parking was easy.

Average Get Away
Pros:

Lovely Customer Service. The room was Clean and Tidy.

The Restaurant had beautiful food (The Red Earth) only down fall that you have to order rice separately which is such a shame cause you pay $25+ for a meal

Cons:

Facilities were abit damaged, the spa plug had a hole in the middle of it and the spa handle was broken.

I wouldnt booked on a weekend, as the music eco through to our room and we couldn't sleep, it was so loud. We ended up leaving at 10:30pm and headed home.

I was told I could either have a spa or balcony not both. After hours no instructions on how to get past the locked gates and locked doors. Felt like a nuisance being there. Paid almost 300 for 1 night.

When booking room the amenities stated a balcony was included- no balcony provided, not suitable for couple! When submitting a request to hotel - no response provided, so request not received.
Received a complementary drink for one, limited options) when we booked as a couple.
Room was not well kept, water marks down walls, curtains were coming off railing, small bar fridge was not cold, so complementary water was warm, hotel above pub so very noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.
For what was rated as a luxury hotel was well overrated - staff were very casual and appeared reluctant to offer service, not very friendly. For the price. There are definitely better options in Mount Isa! Disappointing!

Nice room, shame my allergies kicked in,
Pros:

On this return trip I was given a much larger room closer to the lift. Same type of room booked.

Cons:

I had the allergy problem again. The air con was off in both stays, and the window open. There were very bright lights outside this room, fortunately the curtains did a great job blocking the light.

Convenient but allergies were provoked.
Pros:

The fridge, coffee pod machine. Nice restaurant downstairs.

Cons:

I got really bad sinus from allergies that were kicked off by something in the room. Heave double sided blockout curtains and carpet were in the room, while others it may not affect them, but me, I really had a bad nights sleep due to my nose blocking, sneezing, coughing etc. I need to ask about curtains and carpets in the future, it’s just me, not a reason for anyone else to avoid this place.
