The owner went beyond expectations to make our stay comfortable. The facilities were also excellent.
In the centre walking distance to Main Street . Apartment was great value for money and very neat and tidy
Spa bath jets did not work but great shower
My flight was an early one, I turned up to drop my bag off and was going to come back, Alison allowed me to check in on the spot. Which was lovely. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped, It was better than the photos. Great location, walk to Woolworths and the Maraboon.

Exceptionally good value for money. Apartment was well set up and in a quiet location set in a nice garden area with undercover parking.
Minor irritation but a very small kettle (0.8 litre) wouldn't fill our 1 litre vacuum flask
The 2 bedroom apartment was roomy, the self contained kitchen had everything we needed and the location was central to what we needed.

Liked having a kitchen
My experience at this hotel left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about my privacy.
Upon arrival, I was told by a woman at reception that I needed to have any guest sign into reception as she basically walked me to my room which I thought was odd so I checked the terms and conditions and it was not listed. Two days into my stay I did have a guest in my room and after they left staff approached me almost immediately regarding visitors to my room and was told that I was told I needed to sign guest in. I felt this was an invasion of privacy and made me quite uncomfortable as she was clearly watching my room. Never have i ever been told any guests needed to be signed in at reception in any Australian accommodation I’ve stayed at due to privacy and human right laws.
What made the situation more frustrating was that when I politely said that it was not in the terms and conditions and asked where the relevant policy was documented I was not offered to be shown any written policy or term that supported the request. Her excuse was to do with fire department or something. If this were true- when you book a room for three people or four people-Why do you only have to have one main guest listed on the property not every single person’s information?
As a paying guest, i expect my privacy to be respected and in exchange I understand and respect that hotels have rules in place for safety and security which i am 100% happy to abide by. However, this rule was not listed on their website, on Booking.com or on any of the communications I received from the hotel prior to or after check-in so I believe that this was personally applied to me which I did not take kindly to.
The interaction left me feeling scrutinised rather than welcomed, and ultimately it affected my enjoyment of my stay. I would encourage management to review how guest privacy concerns are handled and ensure that any guest requirements are clearly outlined in writing.
