Great location
Pros:

Great spot in the centre of town, evening entertainment was great, staff were lovely. Really good meals at good prices.

Could do with refurbishment and redecoration in the bedrooms, especially the bathroom.

Pros:

A great location in the centre of town, and right next door to the Royal Theatre. Wonderful entertainment every afternoon with a bush poet and a fantastic singer, Max Scullion. Excellent service and food in the restaurant. Great to stay in such iconic hotel with so much history attached.

Over priced & run down
Cons:

The room was old, dirty & rundown. The external doors had a nail to lock it. Peeling paint, mould on the ceiling, bed head detached from the wall so every movement the bed squeaked

Comfortable period style country hotel accommodation with great meals and added entertainment
Pros:

Period accommodation in Country Hotel with atmosphere. Room had an ensuite which was appreciated. Supplied entertainment via Bush Poet and Musician was great. Meals were very popular and arrived promptly from the kitchen and were delicious.

Cons:

Beds could do with an upgrade.

Value for money, great staff. Banjo Paterson recital around 4.00pm, excellent

Matt Scanlon, Country & Western musician who entertained us for about 3 year before and during dinner. Check out when these 2 acts on on. I believe it is every night for the peak season

Good feed and entertainment
Pros:

Great evening. The entertainer Matt Scullion was terrific.
Food was plentiful and tasty. Despite the long queue to order the food arrived quickly. Fun night.
