Great

The room was freezing cold when I checked in. There's no regulated heating, and classic radiators were ice cold. Thankfully I was given a portable heater after complaining.

Towel drier was luke warm, hence bathroom was cold continuously. I appreciate electricity prices, but I think for a 4 star hotel charging circa £200 per night this situation should be more than embarrassing.

I would also consider a good carpet cleaning throughout the hotel (including the rooms) as their current condition is well below satisfactory.

Has a really lovely welcome after a long journey which goes such a long way. The room was great and I had no need to worry about noise from overlooking the busy train station. The secondary glazing made it cozy and quiet.
Breakfast was good too.

We really love the accommodation, it was clean, very nicely furnished and the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were lovely and just what we needed.
Beds were really comfortable also.
The Aparthotel is ideally situated also, being close to the train station, shops and only 5 - 10 minutes walk from Eldon Square. It is right in the middle of town.

A very nice stay with a very comfortable room. The room was cool and we couldn’t adjust the heat.

Limited to NO parking. No real parking available anywhere near the hotel. Never warned before hand about international soccer march being played the same day in Newcastle as our arrival. Area seemed to be in a seedy part of town. Personally told the receptionist on the apartment side of the facility that we were cancelling our reservation and the reasons why.

The room was clean and perfect for a night in Newcastle.

Car park bushes and hedges need trimming instead of overgrown bushes with thorns scratching car

The dust bunnies in the room were over the top, it was insane how much dust was piled up on top of tall furniture and along the walls where the carpet meets.
Had to ask for a portable heater as the radiator was not working.
The mattresses should have been replaced a LONG time ago, every time my son shifted slightly another spring flew up and jabbed me in the ribs.
The bathroom/shower was really nice but the ventilation not great, every thing was soaking wet in there after showering, even in luke-warm water.
The food was ok, breakfast pretty good. All the employees we interacted with were very nice.
Location is in the center of it ALL, central station right across the street, plenty of restaurants nearby along with museums/shops/groceries.

I chose this hotel for location to the train station and good price point for a one night stay after going to the theatre. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, it was immaculate. Comfortable bed, though we were facing a main busy street, the noise did not affect us. Polite, friendly staff and impressed that when we returned late at night, a member of staff checked we were staying before allowing us in. The room was compact, but perfect for our stay. A beautiful old building, well maintained.

The breakfast was ok but we did expect more choice given the 4 star rating of hotel. More cereals fresh fruit and choice of breads etc. In fact we have had much better breakfasts at Premier Inn. Excellent location in the city.
