great location and I would recommend for only a night or two.
Pros:

This is right in the middle of town and just minutes from every restaurant and other attractions. It is a very old hotel in years so the boards creak and the decor is older but OK. The restaurant and bar area are very good and the food was of high standard. The assistant manager was very helpful and allowed us to lock our E-bikes up in the outdoor area which was much better option than leaving them on the car.

Cons:

The hotel actually tells you that it can be noisy and gives you ear plugs if you need them. It was just the bustle of the bar area which quietened down later in the night and the traffic noise starts around 6am and can be heard. Parking can also be a bit trick as they prioritize the staff at the hotel to park there and the patrons are encouraged to park else ware which I thought was strange when your lugging bags.

Pros:

Beautiful old pub with original timber staircase, wooden floors, large room, king bed, luxury linen. The bathroom at the end of the hall has a choice of tub or double shower.
The dining room is all original timber. The food was great.

Cons:

Nothing. If you feel you NEED your own bathroom, go elsewhere. Otherwise. Fantastic.

A fun experience
Pros:

Unique atypical hotel. very clean, excellent location, nice pub with garden and music, common bathroom but very clean

Cons:

No lift .only one floor but not convenient with heavy luggage.
No breakfast on site

Unique pleasant lodging in central part of town
Pros:

Central location in town, free parking, friendly staff, vintage building, shared bathrooms not a problem

Cons:

Music until 10pm from cafe on property could be annoying if early to bed but ear plugs provided and pleasant to listen to when ready to enjoy

Great stay at an old pub!
Pros:

A beautiful pub right in the heart of the village. Our room was huge and the bed so comfy. Everything was very clean and the shared bathrooms were excellent.
