I’d go back in a heartbeat..
Pros:

A wonderful historical hotel in a stunning location. We were there on magical sparkling summer days & it could not have been more perfect.

Pros:

The location is brilliant and this is such a beautiful iconic building. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly.

Cons:

The general manager did not smile at all.. very unfriendly.
No bedside lamps which made it difficult for my elderly parents to find their way during the night to the bathroom. No decent photographs of the rooms to gauge what they’re like on the website or even once requested.. we were in room number one which was incredibly loud and noisy right throughout the night. The noise!! It was like the engine of a ship humming. I barely got any sleep.

Great place to stay in Portsea
Pros:

We had an issue with our booking such that we couldn't make it on the dates due to a family emergency. The hotel were very accommodating and understanding of the circumstances and could rearrange alternatives.
I have been to this hotel before and would recommend them very highly. Thank you to the great staff for great customer service!

Good family one night stay
Pros:

Excellent location . Beach views and outdoor sitting area has lovely sea views .

Cons:

Rooms not very soundproofed. Could hear people in next room quite clearly .

Great Place, well worth the stay!
Pros:

The hotel team were very quick to act when there was a leak in the room. Changed to a different room - a suite I may add, in the space of a few minutes. Staff were very kind and attentive.
