my kids really enjoyed staying here
Room is huge. No face towels provided. The gym is not easily located. Limited equipments. Breakfast selections is good. Can get noisy if staying near pool.
Clean n very nice hotel, take 3 bedrooms with good price.
good pool for kids below 7 years olds
very limit parking, out side parking having issue with monkey.
nice place to chill n relex.
November beach not very clean.
breakfast, lunch n dinner buffet need to improve.
Great place to stay for family.
fantastic trip, super friendly and helpful staff from crew member to management team.
nice pool, yummy breakfast, clean and modern room.
Surrounded by the Mallacca Strait and lots of trees with a lawn to the beach, quite tranquil and remote with small road entrance. The hotel is new with balcony towards the lawn. However the sound-proof is not good enough that I was totally disturbed by a baby crying in the next room. The amenities are very poor with nothing in the fridge and nothing in the toilet except 2 set of tooth brush, two shower towels and shower & bath gels. They don’t even have the towers for face wash. When we order an extra blanket they charge 30 more Malaysian ringgits which became my first experience of paid blanket in my life. There are also lots of wild cats I face in the morning out of my room as well.
The room was rather pleasant to sleep in except that the air conditioner remote had a broken LED and battery so we could not change the temperature of the air conditioner which was quite cold but we managed to fix it by asking the front desk for assistance. Food was lukewarm and could be hotter. The bathroom had used tissue and toothpaste on the ground and bagworms were hanging from the ceiling (I used a tissue to grab them and throw them away) Bedsheets had a few minor stains and there were no chairs available. The boiler worked fantastically in boiling water. The shower place could use some cleaning but overall the water was great. Pandan desserts were awesome though the rendang chicken could use a little more flavour. There is also a stain on the wall though it's fine. Moth flying around inside the hotel room which was a bit irritating.
Positive
1.We got the 3 bedroom unit which is large and spacious - the interior of Villea is newly renovated, so it feels new-ish. Bed was firm, pillows can be better.
2. Breakfast are replenished very quickly. My kids love their freshly baked croissant/ pastries that is baked right where guests are seated. Variety was alright.
3. There are a couple of Gentari EV charging bays inside the hotel car park compound.
4. Plenty of restaurants/eateries dotted near Villea.
Negative
1. The rear side/area of the hotel stinks, there’s constant bad smell wafting through the corridor everytime we accessed in and out our room. This felt like the nastiest thing we had to endure during our stay there.
2.There’s flies inside the unit.
3. The beach is downright nasty, terrible, dirty and nothing like in the picture. The sand is black and oily, and there’s dirty water from Villea’s drainage going out into the beach area. Some parts of the beach were smelly too. Villea locks their gate to the beach at 7 pm (didnt see any signboard) and therefore locked the guests out with that policy 🥲. Perhaps this was the natiest thing during our stay.
4. Besides the pool and the dirty beach, there’s pretty much nothing interesting to do in the area. If you have a choice, perhaps skip Port Dickson altogether. Maybe this is not so much Villea, just PD as a destination by itself.
5. Parking inside is limited. Non EV cars were hogging the EV bays. You’d have to park outside the resort if all bays are taken.
6. Guests enters the swimming pool wearing tshirts, non swimwear.
7. Not enough lounge chairs, towels nor umbrellas at the swimming pool.
8. In the, the villa mini refrigerator didnt keep the drinks cold.
Ultimate View
Will not return. Not worth it. AVOID this hotel and area if you can help it.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Area is beautiful, truly a resort.
Stayed in a 3-bedroom "apartment". A really lovely and spacious floorplan with (as its name suggests) three separate bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom. It was so nice to be able to travel with a group, share a common living area, and have the convenience of our own separate bathrooms. There are no cooking facilities in the apartment but you can eat outside meals/snacks around the dining table. Just remember to bring your own cutlery/plates/dishwashing products etc. as only glasses/mugs are provided. The living area was huge - really impressive and airy with a lovely beachy vibe (ceiling fans only). However, each of the bedrooms had their own air-conditioning. Buffet breakfast was excellent. All staff we encountered were super friendly, efficient, and hard working... from the porter, to reception, to the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast). Our stay here exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much, Villea PD!
Love this quiet resort on the beach. It’s also right next-door to the entrance to a natural park with many interesting hikes. This facility does entertain some large groups of guests but can also be very quiet and peaceful at times. There’s no liquor served on site, but the amenities, the park the beach and the ocean were all excellent. Some small disappointments with my evening meals but everything else was quite good. Prices are high in the restaurant for this area so quality could be improved a little there. The servers were readily available and quite sweet to me as the only Caucasian on site for four days. Definitely a strong Muslim presence here going by the way, the women were dressed, and the Quran and prayer mat in my room for starters. This didn’t affect my visit negatively in anyway.
need to go up stairs in order to go to the room. preferred ground floor, especially for elderly that are wheelchair bound.
Formerly known as Perdana Ilham, the hotel was rebranded as Villea under Attana Hotels & Resorts. The drive takes 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur and not at the bustling Port Dickson town.
We took an apartment that faced the beach across the fields and gazebo. Besides, the apartment are swimming pools for adults and children. An extension from the reception and Terrace Restaurant.
As this is a beach resort, the apartment is without the kitchenette facilities. However, there are lots of eateries along the main road and splendid of choices and mostly of local and seafood menus.
There were hiking trails of Tanjung Tuan, which one may go to the . The beach can only be dwelled at a certain time, and the gate will be closed at 7.00pm.
The staff are helpful and mostly looking forward to do extra miles.

million thanks to villea port dickson make my days
Not relaxing at all. There was a huge company retreat happening so there were 300 workers yelling through team-building games, and then a booming microphone voice for long periods, and then every room was raucous till 2am. If they are having one huge company retreat the hotel should really book out the whole resort and not let unsuspecting tourists like us book in.
Pros:
+ Hotel has been refurbished, apparently 7 months ago so the apartment (3 room) is new
+ All the basic amenities in the room are provided for, nothing too extravagant
+ Rooms are clean
+ Showers and hot water work well
+ Towels are new and clean
+ Pool looks clean - adults and kids
+ Beachfront - high tide in the morning and water recedes towards evening
Cons:
- Buffet meals are basic at lunch & dinner
- Breakfast when served are not particularly hot. Seems like they've been prepared earlier and left in the kitchen waiting to be brought out
- Toilets in the common area are OK. Can be cleaner and dryer
- There is no Bar or Lounge in this hotel
- Alcohol is not served
Very new property. Room is not huge but spacious and comfortable (had a standard). Fan and AC in room is great. Only downside was low water pressure for shower.
Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Staff here are great, very helpful and quick. Pools are great and kept clean. Blue Lagoon beach is really nice, just the part directly in front of the hotel is not great, so walk 100m down. Hotel could improve on this.
I would stay here again. Very relaxing time not close to the craziness of PD
The room was very nice, but not clean enough. Should put the dressing table in the master bedroom. Should add more plugs in the living room. Overall ok.
Room very good.
We (total of 7 person with parents above age 75) been lock out at the beach gate around 8.30pm
Due to a very small notice hang at the gate which unable to notice.
Been waiting at gate for more than 30min as a very unfriendly security guard unwilling to open the gate for us. says its not his fault . Beside that he is not perform his duty to close the gate on time at 7pm.
As we walk out from the gate around 8.10pm
Hope the hotel management will put up a big sign board near the gate that will close at 7pm towards to the beach.
Overall children enjoy the swimming pool and room cleanliness is good eventhou the hotel is quite old.
