I wouldn’t stay here if you have a car there is no parking available when you book here. Couldn’t get a park so I had to book somewhere else last minute.
The manager went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He was courteous and considerate.
I liked the bench at the end of the bed that made it easy to manage our luggage. It was also quiet, yet right opposite the beach.
Great location, interesting design
It was all pretty good. A couple of things need updating/repair but otherwise great
Location is excellent close to everything and across from the beach. Bed made everyday and the team member I dealt with was very helpful
Rooms could have been cleaner, cobwebs on ceiling, shower tiles looked dirty, pillowcase had holes in it
Clean and close to where we needed to go
Check in was a bit tricky
Location location location- unbeatable.
Parking was advertised - $20 a night
There was no parking - finding a park was horrendous and miles away.
It was difficult to drag luggage up the front stairs.
Rooms were out-dated - although ok.
BUT the location was fabulous, the place was chilled, relatively quiet and perfect if you want something simple with no car or parking requirements.
Location
Nothing
Everything was fabulous
Nothing , everything was fabulous
Rooms were spacious and confortable. Also very quiet.
Parking was too expensive in my view. (I didn't use it for that reason)
Location
The communal kitchen and outdoor area was fantastic for our group booking.
Nothing , loved our stay
Location
Shower not clean mouldy. Bathroom tiny. Room very dated. Bedding was clean but pillows uncomfortable.
Location
Should have known this place was a “dive” by the name!!!!
A real renovators delight! 🤢
The building and rooms were old and very dishevelled.
Main entrance is ugly with no street appeal and maintenance works / cyclone mesh fencing surrounding the path.
Reception area at rear of hallway, with simple unprofessional desk and grotty looking common area.
No lift for upstairs guests.
Cracked paint around windows/sills/skirting boards/door frames.
Where there was no old frayed carpet on the floor, there was creaky scratched floorboards throughout.
TINY horrible dark blue bathroom with a shower that resembled the Tardis! Even the same blue! 🤮. Bad lighting and one towel hook. Hope we don’t get Tinea! Just felt unhygienic. The hand basin was like those in beach public toilets that they just hose out. Absolutely no bench space for toiletries. Grotty plastic boxes housed hairdryer and spare toilet paper.
As for the balcony….. absolutely a waste of time. It’s so skinny they can’t even fit proper outdoor furniture on it. Just a bar like shelf with single rickety timber chairs. Watch the splinters!
The kitchenette was so old the varnish was worn off and scratched!
The chaise leather lounge looks very well used and torn.
The jug was good. And the sheets were clean. But that’s the only good thing I can say.
Oh…. And no parking! So add another $50 to your bill to allow for parking at the local supermarket!
I s’pose return customers aren’t on their radar, but this place was gross for the price. There’s certainly someone making big bucks out of a premises that doesn’t offer much.
