Disappointing
Pros:

The location and the size of the apartment

Cons:

There was no air conditioning or private, secured parking even though the apartment was advertised as having both.
There was a pizza box with pizza left in it in the pantry as well as an empty bottle of milk when we arrived. Also there were a couple of large shards of glass under a single lounge chair in the lounge room.
Also the main bedroom smelt of urine if the bedroom door was closed.

Location was great for us.

Cons:

No parking available on site. No egg flipper in utensils. Rooms not made up as shown on booking site. Had to get someone in to fix this.

Good Old Fashioned Hospitality and Folk
Pros:

Everything but more importantly, the support, understanding and flexibility shown. From the moment we met Ivan we were greeted with warm hospitality and communication, the kind reminiscent of our country upbringing. In the context of our daughter’s wedding, the difference this made in allowing us to focus on that exclusively to any other distraction just can not be understated. The rooms are expansive, modern and well equipped. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. Three bedrooms. Just perfect for a family including Nan if you are preparing for a wedding or a weekend getaway in Byron or nearby hinterland and want to base yourself with easy access to all the facilities you may need. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

Ivan was amazing, property met our needs
Pros:

The apartment was large and had plenty of space. It was well equipped overall and the bedrooms and bathrooms were modern and clean. The absolute best thing about the apartment though was Ivan the onsite manager. He was very helpful and assisted us with jump starting our car when the battery went flat. He couldn't have been more helpful.

Cons:

The downstairs in the apartment needs updating. The fridge in particular was pretty old and the aircon downstairs was pretty dirty. The couch though was really grotty with big stains all over it and when we entered the apartment it had a musty smell. My wife couldn't bring herself to sit on the couch at all. The prices were also hiked up for Bluesfest so was not great value for money. As I say, Ivan was fantastic and the property overall is good - but downstairs needs a good scrub and a new couch.
