The smell of the bathroom and the fridge absolutely disgusting

I booked and paid for this accommodation under my own name and arrived with the same ID and bank card I used to make the booking. Despite having all my identification and proof of payment, I was refused check-in.
I was only one week post-op from a major tummy tuck surgery and was extremely sore and vulnerable. I was waiting for my husband's flight to arrive the next morning, but the accommodation expected me to wait until 2 am the following day, when my husband arrived, as it was his card we booked the room from before I would be allowed into the room we had already paid for.
I was recovering from major surgery and needed somewhere to rest. Expecting me to wait until the middle of the night to access accommodation I had booked in my own name, with my own identification, was absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.
I have booked accommodation many times and have never experienced anything like this before. I was extremely unhappy with how I was treated, and to make matters worse, I was only partially refunded despite being refused check-in.
This was an incredibly stressful, upsetting and disappointing experience at a time when I was already physically struggling. I expected a much more reasonable and professional approach. I would not book here again, and I would encourage future guests to be aware of my experience before making a reservation.

Room was basic and it echoed. The bathroom floor was wet when we arrived. We listened to the guest next door snore for most of the night and it was annoying to clearly hear his alarm go off at 5:30am, listen to him get up, have a shower and rummage around in his room. The room we stayed in needs some serious soundproofing. We booked the room only 48 hours earlier because we wanted to be close to airport, but were charged an exorbitant amount of $500 for an extremely basic room.

Price vs quality didn’t match. Pictures of rooms didn’t give an accurate representation. When it says budget, we weren’t expecting THAT budget, especially for the room price. One of the very few power points in the room near the bed was faulty and not working. Kettle was dirty. Basin in bathroom was so small my husband couldn’t even wash both hands at once. I understand now why the price is non refundable cause once you see the room you want to cancel and go somewhere else. Very disappointed.

Everything. There is a mould smell in the property. They moved me Rooms 3 times as the bedding was dirty in every room. The staff are rude, disrespectful and blatant liars. The bedroom window was hanging off on one of the rooms. The bedroom stunk of cigarette smoke.
