An historic pub in good location of average quality rooms.
Pros:

Good location comfortable queen bed and limited off street parking available.

Cons:

Hot water system was erratic and unpredictable. A little noisy when other guests entering and leaving. Box breakfast included was basic. Three out of 5 downlights in the room not working.

Central location in walking distance to all town attractions.
Pros:

Location, quality of hotel for a regional town, size of room, sleeping for three people in each room, breakfast provisions, TV with Stan, Netflix, etc

Cons:

Bathrooms need to be a bit cleaner. Partner choose not to use the shower due to the cleanliness. Also we booked three rooms and each room had flies in them. Pokies smoking area is located below rooms and being a Saturday night, there were a lot of intoxicated people making noise in the early hours of the morning affecting our sleep

The location is excellent, the rooms very neat and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

The food was tasty, good quantity and of a reasonable/average price for meal selection.

Cons:

Clean, modern and good location
Pros:

Clean, good location

Cons:

3rd degree about our car even though it wasn’t even parked onsite. We’d already had to produce our driving licence and bank card…. That should have been sufficient. It felt intrusive , unnecessary and unfriendly. Especially as the car was at a different location.
The breakfast was very poor ( a small box etc in the fridge) considering it’s pub that serves food.

Accommodation if you must stay in Strath only

Cons:

Breakfast was a little box of cereal pouch and preserved milk, left in the fridge not what we expected from a country hotel breakfast, particularly as there was a Bistro!. AC barely worked at all left us and the room very cold.!! The rooms are dated and in need of an update.

Pros:

Access to the room from rear steps and outdoor seating. Walk to shops and the eating in the hotel was beautiful. Lovely stay

Cons:

The room was a little noisy at times due to screeching taps or something working in the ceiling ( not sure what it was ). Car parking was tricky when a larger car parked in the small car park.
Side note the downlight above bed away from door felt like it wanted work when it felt like it. Sometimes on, other times not on.
