I didnt. I cancelled the reservation, lost $140 NZ and went and booked elsewhere.
Pros:

Nothing. My cousin (lives in Sydney) and I arrived intending to drop off my bag, before returning to the city for a show. The girl on the desk couldnt speak English enough for us to understand what she was saying.
The reception area was "odd" and there wasnt a shuttle to get to the Airport early the next morning, which was the reason I was booking a hotel , as I didnt want to get my cousin up in 4.45am. The hotel also doesnt have a "wake up service" as apparently there is no staff available between 10pm and 8am. We got the key, went down an almost unlit corridor to the room and used the toilet and decided to cancel and book elsewhere. I have NEVER ever cancelled a booking before. There was no refund but we decided to book at the Ibis Budget instead.

Cons:

Everything. The service was nonexistent. She said NO to everything we asked (wake up service, shuttle etc AND refund ) It was a busy very noisy corner miles from the Airport. the decor was bizzarre, In the room near the ceiling was this weird arrangement of false greenery with a wheel and a tennis racquet stuck to it. I had visions of sleeping in the bed and a tennis racquet falling on me!! The room itself was actually better than we expected although the mirror surround was all cracked and the toilet didnt flush properly.

Pros:

The room was pretty, very bright and comfortable and warm. The staff member behind the desk was very nice and helpful. It was easy to check out early hours of the morning. The area seemed safe, we walked around exploring at night

Cons:

The room was a bit squeezy for our family of 5 but was comfortable and fine for overnight. It was still a bit of a drive to the airport but not too far.

Our stay was not terrible due to staff alone
Pros:

We had very rude and noisy folks next door to us in next room. I politely asked them to keep it down they ignored me and went all night.
