For budget accommodation - the price was good.
I really liked the comfort - the bed was really comfortable & the sheets etc felt nice, crisp & clean.
The layout of the unit was good & it was nice & close to town, not far from the airport...
Checking in was unusual for me but I don't get to go places very often, so that may be normal.
Gut ausgestattete Wohnung , sauber , alles da was man braucht .
Der Pool ist schlecht angelegt , haben ihn nicht genutzt .
I like the position, close to all highlights in Cairns, very central ,cheep Uber.
The room was extremely clean with everything you need for long or short stay.Place is very quiet, and despite no reception desk the check-in was easy .
Not coffee machine with pods
free Parking
Good position
No staff contact
Many thanks!
I shall make recommendations for the Villas as it was probably the best value for money I mean what else can I say... I apologize for any mess. Again... many thanks
The property’s in a nice location, close enough to walk to the centre but in a quiet area. Amenities are good has most of what you’d want for a self serviced apartment.
I’ve seen the owner write back to people in quite a harsh way so I’m assuming I’ll get the same. Check in was quite an ordeal, I tried to contact to advise we would be there late. My mistake that I missed reception closes at 12 but having booked this months before our stay, mistakes happen. We got through and were met with quite a stand off tone, considering all he had to do was unlock the doors I didn’t understand the rudeness. He also wasn’t aware we were checking in and confirmed he does not read his booking.com messages (seems to check the reviews so I don’t understand not checking messages) so even if I had messaged earlier to say we’d be late, it would not have made a difference. The floors could use a mop, my socks were black within minutes of walking around, we didn’t use the pool as there was a frying pan in it for whatever reason. Never saw a person at reception, which is fair considering it is a small property but as we don’t have Australian sims as tourists it’s not very feasible to expect people to be able to call if there is something wrong.
Location
No front office person
Loved the aircon and comfy bedding. The kitchen was also super handy with lovely helpful staff.
There was a water leak above our room thay cut our power and lighting for half our holiday. This means we couldn’t use the aircon or fans to cool down in the hot temperatures. Additionally, the bathroom was extremely cramped and small and water spilled everywhere.
It's closer for the Airport and shopping centres and businesses i love it and most of all i enjoyed staying there.
I loved the unit (4)!! Will definitely be looking for an extended stay next visit. 💕
The staff were very helpful the place was very clean.and location was half way between the airport and the city.
Nothing
Had all the amenities to make an enjoyable stay. Enough space for placing your baggage in without having to dig through and live out of a backpack, freeing it up for other use was great. Washing machine and dryer in your own room with a full sized fridge and kitchenette.
I had to take a walk around the block trying to find where to enter the place from. I found that you needed to give a guy a call on the phone to let you in eventually. But the tone of voice used wasn't especially friendly. Then once in, there isn't a receptionist at any time, so you really miss that face to face personal welcome for the place as soon as you check in. The fellow on the phone gave directions and was able to give remote access to your room. It missed that personal touch.
Also, even though the place was like that when you first get there and I got told where the button was to close the doors as you left, I got a rather vehement knock on my door on the last day, where the fellow who was looking after the place told me not to close the doors to the building throughout the day, and this was the first time in 5 years he'd had to tell someone to leave them open. So that soured the stay a little. Even though you try leave the place how you first found it, I'd rather not have to get spoken to in the manner the warning was delivered. So it was a very impersonal and not too fond interactions with members of "staff" for want of a better word at that place.
Close to shops and city centre.
Staff could not locate my headphones which I left on bedside table, and got no response from staff if the cleaners had found them.other than that it was a good stay.
