Lovely location and the hotel had a nice restaurant etc. Requires new beds.

The continental breakfast was good and in a nice reception room.

Cons:

The beds were terrible, very uncomfortable with springs being felt all night. Also there was no entrance from parking area, one had to carry luggage around to front of building,

Location very good. Hotel seems to be in process of renovation. Has good potential but needs more work

Cons:

Restaurant not open. Dinner in bar. Booked for 6.30pm. Served at 7.20pm. Meal ok. Long wait was frustrating

A nice old world hotel on a river
Pros:

The position and the restaurant and the general character of the hotel. It also serves breakfast.

Cons:

This is not really a negative but be aware. There are two accommodation choices. The hotel itself or side newer accommodations.

Good value accommodation in Port Huon
Pros:

2 bedrooms, spacious unit, excellent meals in the restaurant. Generous breakfast included in the price.

Cons:

Landscaping in progress, muddy areas making it difficult to navigate to the dining room. Leaking taps in the bathroom

Pros:

The area across the road was visually pleasing.

Cons:

The room was very basic and dated. Bathroom had mould and broken tiles. Shower in bathtub. Bed hard and uncomfortable. Room way over priced. Kitchen closed, however staff did get a bowl of chips and i was able to get a beer to take to my room. Staff accomodating. Wouldn't recommend unless major renovations in the future.

A breathtaking step back into a time of elegance and beauty.
Pros:

Kermadie Hotel was like stepping back in history. The care in the details of keeping with the history of the hotel are a credit to the owner and staff. The view from the guest reading room/refreshment/drawing room was amazing and comfortable. Our room was small, however, it still had everything we needed. Cleanliness and a comfortable bed. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Dinner in the bar was delicious and there was a great selection of wines.

Cons:

Actually, there was nothing I didn't like. It was all great.
