Absolutely everything. Saltwater Villas exceeded our expectations in every way. The villas are spotless, modern, and beautifully set up, with a relaxed coastal feel that instantly makes you feel at home. The location is fantastic — quiet and peaceful, yet only a short walk or drive to the beach, cafés, and shops.

The pet-friendly aspect is genuinely thoughtful rather than tokenistic. Our dog was clearly welcome, with secure outdoor space and easy access for walks, which made the stay stress-free and enjoyable for the whole family. It’s rare to find accommodation that balances high standards with true pet friendliness, but Saltwater Villas nails it.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the overall layout felt spacious and private. Communication from the hosts was excellent — friendly, clear, and responsive — making check-in and the entire stay seamless.

It’s the kind of place you immediately want to return to. Comfortable, calm, impeccably maintained, and perfect for families or couples travelling with pets. We honestly couldn’t fault it.

The booking.com pictures are highly curated. It definitely led me to believe it was a resort style villa.

Cons:

This is not what you see in the pictures. In addition, our studio B faced studio A like two bedrooms of a top floor town house would. The managers / owners have my feedback directly. Choose to stay based on your own research. I understand and support many small businesses. However... this one might be my rare one on booking.com that doesn't get my vote.

Pros:

Had such an amazing short break. It was so relaxing with everything we needed at the property. The kids were very entertained with the warf and the pool. The dogs enjoyed the property, too. Tara, our host was amazing, very helpful and friendly

Would happily stay again
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. Close to Coles and beach cafes. Absolutely first class attention from my host Alison

Cons:

Traffic noise is quite noticeable and noise from feet (particularly children) on the ceiling is a negative.
