Great place to stay with dog.
Pros:

Lovely property with great views, especially with the mist the morning. Great having electric blanket as very cold while we were there but good heating. Nice large room and had everything we required. Staff were fantastic too.

Great history building
Pros:

Great stopover location. I love the history of the building.

Cons:

Nothing. The restaurant would have been a great bonus but understand it's closed while being renovated

Very clean, lovely staff and a great big kitchen to cook in.
Pros:

Historical , great big kitchen to cook in, big lovely verandah and great view.

Cons:

Don’t ask for Room 14. A big caravan beside it had a plug and hose joined to the property making a funny noise every half hour through the night.

Comfy bit of history on the edge of town
Pros:

Spacious comfortable room from a bygone era

Cons:

Smart tv in the room would be good and need a vanity to put your toiletries on / in, in the en-suite. Need to get the restaurant up and running cos it’s a bit of a hike into town

Charming, convenient, country feel close to the city
Pros:

Beautiful old estate, nice that it is surrounded by green open spaces away from the town centre but still super close. Check in and out was seamless.

Beautiful newly renovated rooms
Pros:

Beautiful newly renovated rooms with everything you need. A large communal area with kitchen and seating. Located on a hill on the edge of town so it was very quiet. Sadly I arrived at night so could not appreciate the property better!
