Pros:

Perfect position for a walk over the bridge to the 90 mile beach & restaurants
Fully fitted kitchen with full cooker with oven

Pros:

Great location. Easy access to the central of the town. Close to the restaurants, cafes and shops. BBQ facility on site is working well.

Cons:

Cooking inside the property would be a bit difficult as the exhaust fan didn't work. The double bed is a bit too soft for us. The single bed frames were making loud squeaking sound.

Very comfortable old-school motel-style units with great facilities and welcome.
Pros:

This is a fairly old building but well maintained and equipped. We had a 3 room (+ bathroom) unit which was heaps of space for 2 people and at a very reasonable price. The manager was welcoming, friendly, informative and helpful. There was everything we needed and we were particularly pleased with the kitchen facilities. Everything was A1 clean. The TV was refreshingly straightforward to use and we didn’t have to navigate through a whole load of weird “apps”. The location was perfect for us as we could easily access the footbridge over the lake to reach the ocean beach. There are eateries nearby including one we really like- “Sea Shanty”. Also, you are at one end of main shopping precinct when you walk to the main street so it is a cinch to start there to explore the whole shops and esplanade precinct.

Cons:

It didn’t bother us at all as just a couple, but in a couple of the units you need to walk through the two bedrooms to reach the bathroom. The manager is aware of how this might not suit all guests and by contacting her you can organise a solution.

Reasonable stay
Pros:

It's a reasonable hotel to stay. Location is pretty good, very central. It's good value for money for the price they set. And you get all amenities you could want including a full kitchen with all appliances, utensils, cutlery etc.
The manager lady is very nice and helfpul, and assisted us a couple of times we needed help with something. There's a large backyard as well to enjoy with BBQ facility as well.
Also, some commenters have previously mentioned a musty smell, but that's not a hotel problem... It's sort of everywhere outside as well, being so close to beach and lake.

Cons:

The place was generally very clean and tidy, however a "deep clean" maybe a good idea as the sofas were extremely dusty and it sort of put the cleanliness of everything else at doubt.
The single bed in one of the rooms was quite squeaky, not a big issue but something to look into.
Also, while there is a nice split AC in the lounge, we would have preferred having some fan at least in the bedrooms esp during summers. We did request and got a portable small fan for the room and the windows are openable for ventilation so that mitigated this.

We booked two rooms for the 5 of us to stay in. Both rooms were very clean and roomy. Lots of space in the bedrooms. Eve

Perfect location, very helpful friendly staff, neat, clean and perfect for what we needed for two nights

Cons:

Can be a little noisy being close to the road during the day but didn’t notice any sound at night time.
