Perfect location

It was 'ok'.
Pros:

Great location, right on the beach, close to cafes and bakery. The lady at the front was very friendly, as were the two people serving breakfast. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

Cons:

Upon opening the door to our room, I was met with a cockroach scurrying across the floor. Unfortunately the shower leaked and we had to request numerous towels to keep the water from running out the bathroom door onto the entrance.
Lots of noise coming from The Strand, fortunately I brought my ear plugs. The constant text messages to my phone reminding me about parking, no smoking, cleaning fees was a bit too much. 6 text messages received from 10am Thursday till 5.30pm Saturday night.
The hotel is stuck in the 80s and could do with a bit of a revamp.

Shower didn’t drain so bathroom floor was soaked after shower.
Bed next to veranda meant we couldn’t both access reading light.
