Pros:

Great location. Room adequate for one night stay.

Cons:

There was a funny smell in the room. Either something like a moth ball product or bathroom cleaner product which was quite strong and not pleasant. Unfortunately construction works nearby which can’t be helped but it would have been appreciated to know this at the time of booking.

Great location, and well restored hotel. Serves Reschs "refreshers" on tap downstairs too.

Disappointing.
Pros:

The room was great. Tastefully furnished and with a great view of Manly beach

Cons:

The noise was unbearable. The nightclub downstairs kept us awake until 3:30am.

This should have been mentioned on check-in and ear plugs provided. Will not stay here again because of this.

Cons:

The noise on Friday and Saturday from the bar and nightclub is unbearable. I had no idea about this. I changed hotel after 3 nights but still had to pay for 14! Very disappointed!

wasn't aloud to stay and they refused my refund after kicking us out.
