Pros:

Location, casual, down to earth

Needs some minor fixes in the rooms. Like fixing hat rack to the wall properly.

Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. FANTASTIC shower!

Location for what we travelled for was ideal.

Cons:

Having to pay for car parking. It would be nice to have a reciprocal arrangement with Council to have car parking validated and discounted or free if staying as a guest in the hotel. We spent an additional $209 on car parking for the weekend.

Shame about the nouse
Pros:

Great balcony and view to the beach, close to everything.

Cons:

The loud music continued for 2 nights until 3am. We could not sleep. I would not stay there on the weekend. There was no information about this from booking.com

Thank god it was only one night.
Pros:

The location was good but the hotel had multiple bars, was not very clean, had bouncers on the entrances. It was very noisy and my room must have been over a very noisy venue as my pillows literally vibrated until 4 in the morning. The air conditioning failed that day so no back up procedures were in place and our room was like an oven. We were offered a full refund but over a month later I’m still waiting to see it.

Cons:

The noise until approximately 4:00 in the morning. The cleanliness of the crockery - coffee cups were Roland when we asked for clean ones someone came out and just wiped them with an old cloth. When we asked if they could be cleaned properly we were told that they weren’t allowed to use detergent. We didn’t bother with coffee after that.

Great location and price
Pros:

Room was great, minus a tiny window onto the outdoor area (e.g. I had to keep my curtain shut), friendly staff, great location, great price and breakfast included
