They could fix up the windows, put fly screens in, and fix up the cracks in the plaster.
Pros:

Staff were friendly, had toilet and shower in the room, plus a tv. The air conditioning was a blessing.

Cons:

Both windows were jammed with a soapdish and folded paper. There were no mosquito nets, got bitten badly in room.

We were not informed about the nightclub underneath the accommodation until we asked what the ear plugs in our room were

The room and linen were clean

Nightclub underneath the rooms ran until 2.30am
No mattress protector on the bed so the thin sheet was directly on the mattress

Avoid!
Pros:

Nothing! The facilities were suspect but acceptable at first glance.....BUT I handed back the key after finding out they were expecting up to 300 for a live music night that went til 3am. There was no warning in the listing and it wasn't mentioned when I arrived. I found out by accident. I requested a refund but no response. Appalling.....

The noise is my extremely bad coming from down stairs in the actual same hotel.

Cons:

The noise coming from the hotel was so loud I could not get to sleep until it stopped at 3:00am. At 12:00pm I went down stairs to request it to stop. The guy at the bar turned it down but only slightly. The volume from my bed room, even when he turned it down, was still too loud for me to get to sleep.

Old ran down rooms that are not maintained properly

Rooms were big

Cons:

Air conditioning unit was noisey and didn’t work properly. Other guests were loud slamming doors and could get to sleep at all.

Room was above doorway, with load music until 3.00am.
Not told these things before booking!!
