A bit expensive considering not so comfortable facilities.

Great location, comfortable stay but needs updating
Pros:

The property is in an excellent location, with convenient parking right outside the door. On arrival, the travel cot we had requested wasn’t in the room, but this was quickly rectified by staff after we called, which we appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the fireplace fixture was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for two nights, especially as we were out and about most of the time.

Cons:

We were moved to Room 5 (Studio King Courtyard) prior to arrival, as we were advised the original double room would be too small for travelling with a toddler, which we appreciated. However, we felt the room could benefit from some updating. On arrival there was a noticeable damp smell, and some of the fixtures, such as the blind above the shower, appeared quite old and were difficult to use. A staff member kindly assisted us in fixing this, which we were grateful for. The bathroom layout was a bit challenging, particularly as there is very limited privacy for the shower and bath. The shower itself also seems quite dated and tended to flood the floor outside, leaving the tiles very wet. Even a simple addition like a shower curtain could help improve this.
As we were travelling with a toddler, the bathroom setup also made things a bit tricky in the evenings, as the light from the bathroom area lit up the room.
Overall it was a pleasant stay but a few updates and practical improvements would make the stay much more comfortable, especially for families.
