We made do for one night and for the price, would not stay there again though!
Pros:

The communication with the manager prior and after providing feedback was great. They promised to address the mentioned issues.

Cons:

- mould in bathroom
- hair on sheets and in shower
- fungi growth in bathroom
- the cover of the bathroom fan fell on us when we turned it on
- the fridge was dirty
- the top bunk was so unsteady that I didn't feel safe letting anyone sleep up there

Really just a spot to sleep, could do with a significant renovation

Pros:

It was cheap.

Cons:

No one around when I arrived and let myself in. Had to navigate empty and in some places dilapidated hallways to find my room. Wasn't allocated a room number on my return visit so just went to the same room. I was the only one staying there which felt a bit weird. Recommendations for restaurants were excellent.

Loved it
Pros:

This is a really great place to visit.
The living room, BBQ area, rooms, washrooms are in great condition. Has a piano, books and kids corner, billiard table and some table games. The location, staff, and overall atmosphere are peaceful, reminiscent of the past, and completely Australian.
I would definitely choose it again alone, with friends friends or a family.
Thanks

Cons:

Bar downstairs is currently operating only for functions but there is nice brewery and wooden fire pizza right across the road.

Quite surprising stay, exceeded our expectations and great location and price.
Pros:

Very central. Lots of unexpected facilities like pool table, community kitchen, courtyard to eat food.

Cons:

Animal in the roof woke us up (it was 7am so it was fine lol)

Dont waste your money..the place sgould be condemned
Pros:

The location was central. The room was pokey with no window the double bed overhung the wall. The communal facilities third world and filthy and there was nowhere clean enough to sit to eat. It is a ramshackle building in a state of disrepair...the builder Tim met us and was at least friendly. We moved somewhere else for the remainder of our stay. Dont be fooled by the photos.

Cons:

See above everything was unsatisfactory.

Cons:

The accom is inside a disused pub which is in a state of disrepair. The room was not clean - it was dusty, smelt musty, and there was mold inside the kettle.

The location we could walk to most restaurants and shops.

Cons:

We could see the value of this property and it’s in the process of being restored but it was very run down on the outside.
