Dinner was outstanding! The surroundings were beautiful. Very lush, well kept. Tennis court and pool also well maintained. Outdoor bar/patio was also very pleasant and well presented.
The room was quite large and had minimal furniture so a lot of wasted space. Iron in the room was terrible, I'd recommend purchasing new ones even if they're just from Kmart.
We only stayed the one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Accom was super cozy, dinner sensational and terrific value and Breakfast was brilliant - all of it good old fashioned country style. Would 100% Recommend!
The property is truly charming and very picturesque. It makes you feel right at home with its country charm and stunning gardens. The restaurant and bar were brilliant - yummy food, great drinks and fresh flowers everywhere - a really lovely touch. The free-roaming dogs, farm animals and exceptionally kind staff make it a real dream. Bed was incredibly comfortable!
The only thing is that the rooms are a little bare and dated. But given the price point and that everything else is absolutely charming - it was a non-issue. I only mention this as some may have high exceptions but we found them more than enough.

The property Is peaceful, and tranquil. The rooms are neat and tidy, in keeping with the 100 year old background. the spaces are created to give you a sense of ‘I’m the only one here’ meanwhile the staff are catering to everyone’s needs. A perfect place to stay to rejuvenate.
The restaurant prices were a little high, but overall both myself and hubby thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Communication around the light festival was confusing. Did not really appreciate being forced to buy a ticket for something we didn't request, or were actually able to enjoy.

We had a wonderful weekend at Flowerdale estate. The grounds were lovely for a winter walk and the room was spacious and comfortable. The property itself is a treat - around every corner there is something quirky to delight. While it gives the appearance of stepping back in time, the facilities provided are modern and comfortable. There is a pool, gym and tennis court. The breakfast, which was included in the cost of the room, provided many options, including gluten free. We ate at the restaurant and had a delicious meal which was not overpriced. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodated any request. We would highly recommend Flowerdale Estate for a enjoyable country getaway.
There really wasn't anything we didn't like.
