Serviceable hotel, cleanliness and communication could be improved upon
Pros:

The location while not central was easy to get to & from via public transport. Bed was comfortable, great water pressure and we appreciated the in-room tea.

Cons:

Shower grout had mold & mildew. Shower also leaked water onto bathroom floor & there was what looked to be toothpaste on the wall. During check-in we were never informed that a sign needed to be hung on the door handle for housekeeping. When we requested clean mugs and more tea (as used mugs had bot been replaced & tea & milk were not replenished), they informed us of the sign. We indicated we would have appreciated being informed of this policy upon check-in. Instead of acknowledging the suggestion, the staff member was rather curt in their response, implying that this was common place & we ought to have known.

Met our needs.
Pros:

We had a room that had been renovated. Nice bathroom.
Convenient to the airport.

Cons:

There wasn’t hot water when we wanted shower.
Fortunately, there was lots after breakfast.

Pros:

What a little gem
Excellent price for a cosy little room for an airport layover, bed super comfy.
I had a meal in the restaurant, lamb kebabs were very nice.
A great choice of meals on the menu..
Staff were very nice.
Traffic was a little loud at times as on main Rd but not really a problem.
I had an early flight in the morning so a 10min drive to international airport in Uber.
Would highly recommend and would definately stay again.

Great location, convenient, nice staff, great pub downstairs.
Pros:

Convenient hotel in inner west in Sydney. Great for the small business traveller. Rooms are very nice and comfortable, free carparking, downstairs pub that serves good meals and is friendly and nice, close to Sydney Airport, a jog to Sydney Park, and a 15-minute walk to the Sydenham train and Metro station that takes you all over Sydney. The hotel is a good base to do business or explore Sydney and is just a 5-minute drive to the entrance to the M8 Westconnex tunnel.

Cons:

The outdoor parking is very convenient and free, but try not to park your car under the big shady tree in the carpark, otherwise the birds will mess all over your car ....

Comfy stay with all you need.
Pros:

This is a good value old style pub. The room was renovated, with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Being able to have dinner at the hotel was a bonus.

Cons:

Too much air freshener had been used in my room which made my eyes sting.

The location was great, but more importantly the staff are incredible and very welcoming. Even had a staff member go out of their way and drop my son and I off at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera house on his way home from work. The bed was so comfortable clean bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Ewan was fantastic on check in and Georgia was amazing in the bar. The beds are so comfortable and the room is fresh and clean. The pub food was the best I have had in ages - congrats to the chef - doing a great job. Free parking!

Cons:

Hot water wasn't working on night and morning 1 of 2 night stay. Got fixed for the 2nd night. Noise is present in the background from the AC and traffic and some planes but if you sleep heavy no problems.
