Was a few leaks seen in the hallway after the rain but still good value for money
Pros:

It was clean and spacious

Cons:

There was a party downstairs and the music was loud until 11:30. The cleaning smell was also a bit too strong

Cons:

This hotel is at best a 2 star. It is run down and in serious need of paint and upgrading. There is no reception you have to register through the bottle shop and if no one is there through the Gaming staff. As a woman travelling alone it felt creepy. When l left the bottle shop was closed so no one to talk too if l needed anything. The photos and description misrepresent the actual accommodation.

Basic, comfortable, very close to bus stops
Pros:

The bed was pretty comfortable 😌 & the teas, I had a couple with no milk as I have soy. It was fairly close to newtown. I liked the lemongrass shower gel & body lotion. The YouTube on tv I watched about an hr of music, a few songs before going on the bus to the band & quieter when back & about 10 min of a favourite movie.

Cons:

The sml kettle that didn't turn off burnt my finger a bit! I ran under water was ok. There was a loud noise from the kitchen I first noticed at 1am. I told the cleaner she said the kitchen is next to the last room after mine. Luckily I brought earplugs so not as loud. Running water noise in the drain after used lav & sink filled up when washed my face.
Looked out the 2 outside areas dirty looking, 1 smelled like urine yuck.

Not many bells & whistles they dont impress. What they do have is exactly what I am looking for
Pros:

Value fpr money, free parking and close to public transport. We are already looking at our next stay

Eatery looked great although we did not get the chance to use it - it is marked down for next trip

Staff were pleasant & friendly and assisted us with recommendations for transport to where we were going

Cons:

Accessing the Hotel from the South was a bit of an effort noting the amount of traffic using Canal Road, but once you work it out it is easy
