Lancemore Macedon Ranges

We stayed here because we went to a concert for Hanging Rock and it was convenient. The free shuttle was particularly handy! The staff were really friendly, beautiful surroundings, nice enough foyer/restaurant. Breakfast consisted of a nice variety of hot and cold selections (albeit the 'hot' food was lukewarm). However the room was in serious need of an upgrade and a complete rip off for how much it cost. Firstly it was dark and dingy, with a poor attempt at a freshen up of what was once brick. No space for anything. Only one plug socket on the desk so had to boil the kettle in the bathroom!! Very old and stingy drinks tray with only 1 breakfast teabag each. Unbelievably there was NO FRIDGE!!! They have the cheek to provide a large enough milk but nowhere to store it. Tired wardrobe with paint peeling. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom has been renovated. Expected luxury for the extortionate amount they charge, and it was FAR from it.

Liked the location and setting. Did not like no fridge in room as you need something to put water and wine in. Lack of food options considering over 120 people staying did not open restaurant only small bar menu.

We stayed at Lancemore Hill at Macedon Ranges as we were going to the Elton John concert at Hanging Rock. Hotel provided us with free shuttle to/from the concert which was very handy. Breakfast was lovely in the morning with beautiful views of the lake and vineyards.

Pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. There are no fridges in rooms other than suites which we were not aware of. Very unorganised transport from an event left us standing there for over thirty min with no idea how we were getting back despite calling the hotel.

Great location the accomodation to attend concert at Hanging Rock. The free bus to and from was a big ticket of approval us when choosing somewhere to stay at Lancefield

Our accomodation at Lancemore Hill was perfect for what we required. Lovely staff and very clean and comfortable room. Great wine, cheese platter and breakfast. Location perfect if attending concert at Hanging Rock, shuttle bus service was brilliant.

Very clean. Maybe you should consider a larger bin in the bedrooms and perhaps a bar fridge.

The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. Our room was very modern, comfortable and clean. We had lunch delivered to our room and it was delicious! I seriously cannot fault the place. Thank you for our stay.

Pros- beautiful tranquil setting, friendly reception staff, organised shuttle to and from hanging rock concert
Cons- paid $340 which is ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Small room- no bar fridge, awkardly placed small tv which was challenging to see from bed. Bed extremely soft and uncomfortable- even exhausted couldn't get comfy. Breakfast was inedible (raw/cold sausages, barely cooked bacon, watery scrambled eggs)
Personally I'd save your money and look for other options.

The facilities and grounds are beautiful but what clearly stood out for me was the attention of the staff. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, kind, pleasant and completely professional. We will definitely be back.

I wish I was going to be there longer because of the tranquility surrounding it.

I Thought it was a fantastic location and then the bus was great

Booked for Rod Stewart concert and they had buses organized and fantastic service

Value: Excessive, Overpriced ; Service: Very helpful on checkin;
Bed also uncomfortable; but 11am checkout a bonus and the grounds/setting were lovely, wish we had more time to explore them and the facilities
