We found the place was central to everything.
What we didn't like were the stairs. This was my fault in booking. Should have done more research
The second day of our stay they notified us they they were cleaning the roof the next day & we had to bring the chairs & tables back from the veranda. This left lots of dirt & rubbish on the veranda ( which they didn’t come to clan at all) also couldn’t use the veranda the day it was Cleaned. On checking out I accidentally left two bottles of expensive clone & medication in the fridge door. I emailed them that afternoon to let them know & I would there first thing in the morning to collect. Apon arrival at opening time the next morning. The lady in reception stated they threw them all in the bin I then told her that they were worth nearly $400 She went & made a call to the cleaners & 30 secs later put them on the counter rudely. Also the top floor units only have stairs ( no lifts )

Being on the water
The accommodation was filthy — dirty linen, foul smells, and overall poor hygiene led to our young stepdaughter vomiting. We were shocked by the state of the room upon arrival. Despite separating the soiled bedding out of courtesy, we were later charged a $200 cleaning fee. The property manager was rude, dishonest, and even entered our parked car without permission. This stay ruined what should have been our wedding weekend. We’ve since reported the property to Queensland Health and Fair Trading. Not recommended
By the water
This place was a disaster and completely ruined our wedding weekend. The apartment was filthy — rat droppings on the balcony, mould on blinds, stained carpets, damaged tapware, and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Remote controls had flat batteries, ants ran across the lounge walls at night, and the linen smelled so bad our young stepdaughter vomited. Despite separating the soiled items, we were charged $200 to replace a pillow, sheet, and duvet. Kellie, the owner, was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful — from refusing to split beds to making a petty follow-up call. A staff member was even caught inside our parked car - what an invasion of privacy. Kellie has condoned it. We’ve reported this to the relevant authorities. Absolutely appalling — stay anywhere else
great view and location
The property was spacious with sensational views of the river and sunset.
There are a lot of stairs to climb to get to your room if you’re not situated on the ground floor, especially if you’re coming from the garage.
The room was nicely renovated and modern with amazing views over the water.
Convenient location to what we needed. Great size, clean, good facilities.
It was very expensive but in that context we were at least relieved it was maintained to a very good quality.
The view was second to none, the panoramic windows, over the pool and onto the river - it was so tranquil. The pool was beautiful and would be great for kids - we will liekly bring ours back.
That I only stayed fo 2 nights, would have loved to have stayed longer.
