Nothing
perfect for the weekend away from the noise and chaos of town
next time i would recommend some kid friendly cutlery
We always stay at the Gateway when in Manjimup as it’s close by for us to where we are going.
The double bed was rock hard !!!
The single bed was broken and rattling all night , even with the slightest movement.
The fridge in the room was on its way out as that was making a noise all night to.
According to Google Reviews it's the best restaurant in town
It seems the owner assumes that having one of the best restaurants in town means in-room kitchen facilities aren’t necessary. But that’s not always the case. We arrived around 3 pm and found the restaurant closed. Luckily, we had brought some food with us, but there wasn’t even a basic microwave in the room to heat it up, which was surprising for a motel. Additionally, the kettle was rusty inside, which made it unpleasant to use. As a result, we ended up having cold food and tea with visible rust particles.
Overall, this place might work well if you’re planning to rely on the restaurant, but it’s not a great option if you need basic in-room amenities.
Bathroom is newly renovated so very nice
The road noise was bad and the people in the rooms in the same row as my room felt the need to have loud and long talks right at the front of my door until about 9pm I could hear every word said. I'm the morning as they started leaving for work starting at about 4am they where very loud again, made it very hard to have a restful sleep. The cutlery in the room was dirty and there was no microwave
Friendly staff, great room with all facilities. comfortable bed. new bathroom.
The staff were amazing, very friendly, and accommodating.
Great foods, great services!
The room was clean and comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff were lovely. Restaurant was excellent. Gnocchi best I have had in a very long time. Hotel was not too busy so they upgraded my room to.one away from the highway, it was very quiet.
Room was great but the bed was a little hard for me, so not the comfiest sleep.
They’ve built new accomodation which is really nice. We’ve stayed in a donga previously but this time in a Chalet. Great restaurant on site.
The new Chalets are great but they just need a bit more of a clean in-between guests. The walls are marked, some dirt/dust build up here and there and the shower grout could do with a bleach.
Just a very short drive into the town centre, heritage site and King Jarrah Tree. Quiet hotel area but very vibrant and fun atmosphere at the pub/restaurant. The highlight was definitely the Italian food served at the restaurant - we had dinner there for both nights, worth every penny and one of the best places in our opinion.
There was no water for a shower in the morning but not the establishments fault.
