The person at reception counter can’t speak malay properly. The service is ok not so bad. The facilities also good but not provide shampoo only hand soap???

Basic amenities. But Hotel.com didn't forward my booking total all 7 nights to the hotel and I had to email them my confirmation instead. It's really bad service on the part of Hotel.com.

Very run down, bad front desk service, room is not equipped properly. Short of pillows and blanket. Shower without hot water and toilet bowl clogged.

Front desk is a foreigner, not friendly.

When I tried to check in, the reception said they had no record of my booking, despite the fact I had received confirmation emails from Expedia. They said the problem is with Expedia, not them, but who know? Anyway, luckily they had a room- actually, it wasn't lucky, but more about that in a bit.

So, the good points: well, the guy on reception didn't speak very much English but tried to be helpful with check-in issues; the communal lounge area was pleasant with snacks and beverages available to purchase; there was a nice outside terrace area; the rooms were cleanish, and, despite not having any windows, would have been fine for one night.

You do have to walk up a fairly long flight of stairs to get to the hotel, which may be a challenge for some; the room facilities are basic; you can hear next door breathing; the pictures make it all look a bit nicer than it really is (don't they usually) and there's not a lot in the immediate area.

I realise I'm saying what a lot of reviewers have said, but I want to be fair, because what no seems to have mentioned is cockroaches.

It might just be me being picky about this particular aspect. However, I've shared rooms before, but not with this many: I turned on the light in the middle of the night and they went scurrying back into the gaps in the rather decayed skirting boards and walls. There was one hanging out on the door frame right by the bed and a couple having a drink in the bathroom. No, no, no, no, no. Just no. At 4am, I left.

Staff could not locate my online booking and had to wait for quite awhile yet they could not resolve the issue. I had to forward my confirmation booking to them and ensure that I had already paid for the room. Facilities are old and the room does not have any additional lock, just a normal door knob lock. Cleanliness in overall is bad too.

We are not happy with the1 night stay due to we are arrive late on the check in day and the staff was not allow us to check in and ask us to show the receipt of payment. The staff claim that they did not receive email from hotel.com regarding the stay and the payment. Even we show via hotel.com app and the email as proof of booking confirmation and payment confirmation the staff still reject it as proof that payment had being done. We are wasting time about 30min to get a proof of receipt and need to send to the hotel email for them to print out only we can check in the hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights, first night I can here water flowing down fm pipe whole night. After they changed room next day, my room is nearest to the karaoke bar behind the hotel. Every night there is singing till 1am.

The place is quite in suburb area, many taxis from city reject to take us to the hotel.
