Would recommend for a short stay.
Pros:

Clean, great staff

Cons:

I had to go through an electric gate to get to the office and I didn’t see any signage to indicate where to go or how to get past the gate.

Reasonable price. Some rooms newly renovated. Old mattess.
Pros:

Convenient location on the main street leading into the CBD.
The room was very recently renovated, so was clean and fresh looking.
The rooms have only a kettle, but there is a full guest kitchen downstairs for preparing or heating up any meals if you want to self cater.

Cons:

The rest of the floor was still being gutted and refurbished. So the power tools started at 7am Thursday morning.
The change to the bathroom has added a small step, that has been painted black. I stubbed my toes three times in the my night stay, walking to the toilet and misjudging the step.
While the room was new, the mattress was old, tired and uncomfortable with springs poking into me.

Pros:

Nice location, only a few minutes drive into town and local restaurants. Clean, comfortable room. Easy “late check-in” procedure via the lockbox - all communicated well via text messages. Nice common area and kitchen.

Cons:

No lift to get up to the first floor.

Great place for a short stay.
Pros:

Comfy bed, nice hot shower, very clean, good location with good security. Lovely staff and enjoyed the pool.

Cons:

There could be a few improvements but there’s nothing not to like, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Being renovated but quiet at night.
Pros:

Location was good, not far to walk into town if you don’t have a car and supermarket one block away. Bedroom and bathroom are a good size for a motel of this era. I agree that TV on top of wardrobe isn’t great but hopefully that will be relocated with renovation. My room (13) was quiet at night.

Cons:

They are being renovated however in the meantime the very old airconditioner was too noisy to be able to use if you wanted to sleep.
I did request for early access to room if possible as I was going to a funeral. The Sails motel replird they would try to assist however by the time the room was available it was of very little help which was disappointing.
