I used the bathroom near reception it was disgusting someone had used it and left a mess it was all blocked I told reception it was very bad and needed attention. Property doesn’t look like the photo needs updating

Nice stay was let down by poor sound isolation and a lack of block out blinds.
Pros:

What we liked was the lovely setting and the fact that breakfast was included. The room itself looked modern and the stay was comfortable in some respect.

Cons:

We stayed at Eden Oak Geelong and were disappointed with the lack of support when we raised a very reasonable issue about the room. The room had poor sound isolation, so we could hear kids moving around early in the morning, and there were no proper block-out blinds, which meant our child woke up far too early because of the light.

We asked for help and, instead of offering any workaround or practical solution, we were simply told the hotel was full and that nothing could be done. For a family stay, that was really frustrating and not what we expected from the property.

The hotel was nice and comfortable, in a great location and the room was really nice. There was room service and breakfast included in the booking, check in process was easy.

the modernised accommodation was top class and comfort. The onsite restaurant served very nice plentiful food . The inclusion of full breakfast was a great way to start the day.
