Wasn’t the comfiest ever had, and unlikely to come back again.
Pros:

Natural light and surrounded by a lot of green. Commitment to the heritage design, which had a lot of visual charm in the morning.

Cons:

Rooms lacked a lot of classic amenities and comforts - and neighbouring room noise was clearly very audible. Bathtub was stained yellow, and bathtub tap was really awkwardly placed for showering. Also, an in-room mini bar would’ve been nice, and a coffee machine, maybe.

Overall, the hotel felt like it was lacking a lot of basic comforts. Also, some doors from hallways to the lobby were inaccessible via keycard, so I had to walk around to the other side.

Breakfast was also pretty limited.
Hotel definitely needs not only a refitting or refurb, but also more amenities and staff on to make the stay more comfortable.

The most of our stay, we were considering asking for a refund. It wasn’t our most comfortable hotel experience.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean.

Cons:

My husband fell out of the bed. The bed is too soft & was sloping down. He was jammed between the bed & the table. Didn't like the Thai restaurant. Food was burnt & bland. I was bored. Nothing to do there. No walking trails, poor signage to the hotel.

Pros:

We loved the peace and quiet offered so close to Eastern Beach. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. The onsite Thai restaurant is excellent: food first class.

Cons:

Signage could be clearer. Driving around trying to locate the actual hotel was difficult due to no large sign at the roadside entrance.
