Best value for money
Pros:

We enjoyed the view, the location, the room was inviting, warm & cosy. It was everything & more.

Cons:

The one thing which we didn't really like was the fact that prior to booking the room every time we tried calling & speaking to someone to ask for a late check out the following day. That was all.

Will definitely stay here again.
Pros:

The view of the mountains from the room was excellent, particularly from the spa that is big enough for two people. The indoor pool is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed here in 2025 (the weather was fine) and stayed here again in 2026 (the weather was raining and foggy). Both experiences were excellent. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette has some great inclusions.

Cons:

I stayed here in 2025 and 2026 and the onsite restaurant still isn't open. However, it's a short trip into either Gisborne, Mount Macedon or Woodend for meal options or must eat in and enjoy the views.

Pros:

I loved the views and the bathtub.

Cons:

The main heater in the room didnt work so we had two small heaters but it was just enough, almost a bit cold. Also, we got two single beds put together which is not what I was expecting as the room is not that cheap.

Room with a view.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room with a great view of Mt Macedon. Fireplace was going for our arrival which was nice. Self check-in was easy. Location is convenient to Macedon and Woodend.

Cons:

No WIFI but not really a problem.
