Colonial Resort Noosa

Very well located convenient to cafes and restaurants and Noosa river waterfront activities

It was clean, well located and had everything we needed.

Great location

the property was well maintained but is aging. our management person on the day was excellent and briefed us on security and other good to know info. location riverside is excellent so you can park the car keys during your stay.

The studio apartment was very tiny with three chairs taking up the limited floor space. Hence no room for our suitcases.
The TV was positioned very high on the wall making it very difficult to watch.
The only shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries was very narrow and high.
The window was tiny, meaning that the limited view of the pool could only be achieved by standing right next to it.
The plantation shutters allowed the outside lighting to keep the room relatively bright all night.
The lift was great - no lugging suitcases upstairs.
There were plenty of good places to eat right on the doorstep.

The studio apartment was very comfortable, clean and cheerful. My only negative would be it lacked comfortable seating for two people.

Colonial Resort is centrally located, but the units are at the back of the block and in a garden setting with pool views. Very tranquil setting. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed.

Communication with Reception Manager was prompt and informative. Beautiful resort style complex with a great pool and spa. Walking track along the river is just out front with lots of dining options as well. The room was spacious and had everything you need. Free bus in to Hastings street, 9mins, during school holidays was a bonus as parking difficult in Noosa its self. Under Cover secure parking was perfect, all be it a little tight, kept car cool on the hot summer days.
Only grievance was that we would have loved extra towels with cost or more washing powder to wash the one towel each over 3 days. This was definitely over shadowed by how perfect everything else was.

Really liked the property, studio apartment very small though. Ok for our short visit, however really missed having no sink for dishes.
Also missed having a balcony or outside door opening - felt a bit hot and small.

Friendly and welcoming managers and staff. Our apartment was excellent, very clean and well appointed. Great location, walkable to river, restaurants and supermarket.
Will definitely recommend Colonial Resort to family and friends.

Lovely Resort - definitely stay again when in Noosa

A good and affordable place to stay in Noosa. Rooms are small but functional, WiFi very good. Blinds let in a bit too much light, outside lights left on all night, could be turned off.

Loved staying at the Colonial Resort. Will absolutely go back. Everything about our stay was perfect.

Fantastic , Large and number 11 is beautifully furnished.

BE AWARE of their ‘HOTEL STYLE ROOM’
Called property after hours (Sunday late morning) to enquire about any availability for 5 nights after being informed from our original booking, at another resort, that they would be under renovations during our booked dates.
Were told by management that they couldn’t confirm availability until Monday, when they were back in the office.
Found a room on Expedia that was advertised as ‘Hotel style room’ Studio.
BE AWARE…this is a tiny box with a small opening window and glass blocks as it’s other.
The Colonial management would not offer us any other room (even for our last couple of nights).
We were informed after booking, that this room was usually sold for only 1-2 nights.
No where to dry clothing and resort informed us that we would be charged if we wanted any more clean towels!… and $75 on departure if we didn’t leave the room as we found it (no dirty dishes in sink or rubbish).
We asked if there were any other rooms available for even 1 or 2 nights of our 5, as this was a special holiday for my husband and I.
We’re informed that they were totally booked (This was untrue, as another guest confirmed vacancy around their units & we could see ourselves, that our adjoining room was empty).
This resort has the best pool, and in a fabulous location….shame about Management’s poor attitude and money hungry policy (Would have happily paid the difference in price to have a relaxing holiday and memorable experience).
