Pros:

Beautifully renovated. Modern style with attention paid to the small details. Love everything from the Pantry Cafe for breakfast to the Restaurant for dinner. I wish I could rate this higher than a 10. One of the best places I have stayed in years at any value.

Pros:

The room was very clean and nicely presented.
Room service was quick and easy, and the food was delicious.
All the staff were lovely and easy to talk to.

Cons:

The bed was a little firm for my liking.
I am broad shouldered, so the shower was a bit too small for me.
The toilet wasn't very comfortable.
The fridge was full of mini bar drinks, so I had little space for my own fridge items.
I had to cart my luggage up and down the stairs as there was no elevator. (I did know this beforehand)
I got woken up at 6am by my next-door neighbour having a shower, then again at 7am by the sewerage truck emptying the tank. The smell came in through my heater and absolutely stunk. I had to wear a mask and put my bathroom exhaust fan on until the smell cleared.
I could deal with all the previous for the right price, but this was a deal breaker. I will not stay here again no matter the cost because of this.
