Always dangerous staying above a brewhouse with good beers! Would not hesitate going back
Pros:

Staff were very friendly/excellent. Nice old pub feel with the benefit of a brewhouse below. Good beers and food.

Cons:

Bit of a "Fawlty Towers" start where our room (with mountain views) had mountain views but you could not open the windows. Probably OK in winter (there was a heater) but damn hot when we were there and without airconditioning the room was stifling. To add to the fun, the power went out and the thought of using the conveniently placed candles would have been interesting.

The staff moved us to another room (with mountain views and open windows) but the road noise was considerable (main road was less than 10 metres away).

Next night we were moved to a room near the back and much better. Staff were most accommodating and helpful

Had a wonderful time in a beautiful country town. Definitely stay there again

Clean, comfortable, and was all that we required for our local area stay.
Pros:

Old style hotel type accommodation filled with character & style. Clean & comfortable facilities. Simple continental types breakfast which was sufficient. Central location great.

Cons:

Bathroom ok but lacks privacy. Shower just ok.
